Light on Content *2024-05-17* This idle game is lots of fun but after some time starts to feel repetitive. It could do with some content boosting. Add more characters, make the existing Legendary ones easier to attain (Legendaries are a real slog). Advertisements are a real bummer unless you get the AdFree unlock. The most annoying problem is if you are not playing during reset you will not get the daily reset bonus. We are working on getting proper save data in so please keep an eye out for that! ### 4/5 — One of the best, but could be better… *2024-03-31* This is by far one of my favorite idle games. It keeps my attention without being stressful. I especially enjoy the character building and special events. Like other reviewers, I feel like the manor could be expanded. I also wish there was a way to better utilize the lower level characters after progressing in the game. They become rather useless and the additional cards and coins gained for them add nothing to the experience. I also have played through all of the levels currently released and cannot progress any further until more levels are added. I can still enjoy the special, limited time events, but cannot do much beyond that. I hope that more levels are released soon so I can continue to play and enjoy. ### 4/5 — Fun game but money is more important *2024-01-06* I really did enjoy this game, you could play it anywhere when your bored and just grind it out but I spent a little to much money on it and didn’t think it would be an issue but now money is scarce and I cannot find any refund purchases button anywhere and that is something I need as of right now. I like the graphics and how it remains faithful to the Godfather movie with the storylines. If you’re a fan of the movies I think you’ll like it. Some of the downsides is that the game gives you cash, silver and roses way to quickly. I’m easily able to make more than a quadrillion in cash. Being able to advance so quickly seems a bit unrealistic and makes the stakes not as high. Another is that there isn’t really any options to spend the cash except on buying other properties. It would be better if we can use the cash for more things. Maybe include a mini-game option where we can get cash. One little thing is that it would be cool if they had a pizza place you can buy. Like what mafia game doesn’t have a pizzeria? That’s like the mafia’s go-to business front. The biggest problem is that after the new city update, when I go to the mansion and click on city operations, it glitches. I can’t claim my rewards. Then you’ll love this game *2023-08-15* I wanted to like this game, I really did. It has pretty good reviews and a high rating. I also rather enjoy afk games like this. I understand that the state of mobile games revolves around in-app purchases and micro transactions, however, when 90% of the game is exactly that without even trying to hide it, is ridiculous. Every action you do, you can watch an add for x2 or whatever. I can handle an ad every now and again, but these are intrusive. They’re also ALWAYS the long ads at 45 secs to a minute and that’s being generous. Also, every once in a while, an ad doesn’t work and it freezes your screen and you have to restart the app. Then, when you log back in, the game doesn’t recognize that you watched the ad so you have to try it again. So, you’re playing Russian roulette hoping that the ad that pops up doesn’t freeze your game. This single aspect literally caused me to rage quit and uninstall it. Time it yourself. You’ll literally spend more times watching ads than playing the game. That is, if you actually want to progress because of course they’re “optional”. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the progress of the updates. Oh and watch out for the game trying to lure you into spending more time and money. There’s no real sense of accomplishment to the game. You just level up businesses, kills monsters, move to the next city and that’s it. Then you’ll get to a point around city 5 where you’re forced to either spend days or money to get to the next city. Insane. No multiplayer. Just your basic rehashed idle game. I also spent a great deal of money because I enjoyed the game and wanted to support its development. However, I have not been able to access the game since January 28. I sent in two help tickets and I just got “we are aware” and “there is a new update”. Game still does not work. I will now spend the time once used to play the game telling others on every forum I can find to stay away! Don’t waste your time or money. Cheers! Update: It is simply astounding how little the company cares about the players. All they do is send canned responses. My favorite so far is “the developers will look into your specific game”. How will you do that without the specific game ID? Are you clairvoyant? Maybe use a crystal ball? **Developer response:** We can't apologize enough for the loading case for your game. For the last week nothing has advanced: the daily or hourly cash collected has stayed at the same number, the cards collected for new or upgraded associates have not allowed any upgrades, and there are no upgrades allowed in the main city as there is no change in the amount of cash I collect. I cannot see any advantage to playing this when it is Groundhog Day everyday. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear this! I was on the last city in the game, updated the software, and now I’m back at the first level. Also lost things I paid for, such as the $12 to not have to watch videos. I guess it’s time to put a stop charge in with my credit card company. The game put me right back to level one for no reason at all. I had almost made it all the way through Las Vegas and had legendary weapons and people and everything. I guess I was progressing too quickly so they pulled the plug on my account. I played the night before this happened with no issues and go to pick it up the next morning with it all gone. ETA: It’s been 2 weeks since I have not been able to open the game after the update. I tested to see if I could download and open it on another device and you can. I assume this issue will not be fixed. An ad played 5 TIMES IN A ROW BEFORE I decided to shut it off and I know probably would've just kept playing if I didn't. Tried at least 20 times to get it to start, but it locks up ever time. Sent in a report 2 days ago, nothing works yet. Rebooted my iPad a bunch of times, I freed up a bunch of space by deleting old games, still won’t work. I’d really like to play again, but I’m annoyed at having spent about $25 so far and now I can’t even play. If it’s not working by end of the week, I’ll just delete it and be over it and not get any other games from this developer. There is no way to restore purchases. I tried opening a ticket for support but got no response for days. Very poor service and support. Update: The dev team is working on a patch, but was able to manually restore my purchases in the meantime. We appreciate your continued support! ### 5/5 — I love the game but you need to make these changes *2023-06-04* I honestly think this is one of the best mobile games of all time in my opinion and really enjoy playing it as is and I’ve already taken over both city’s but the only problem I have is with the mansion. Theres only 3 rooms that are useful and even then there’s barely anything you can do with them. I would love if you added more useful rooms and give more features to the ones it already has such as giving the office some sort of upgrade or something because once you’re far enough in the game it doesn’t produce enough silver to matter and in general it’s just pretty useless the war room too because there’s only 4 missions you can do that all take hours to finish just to give you decent loot at best and the debt collectors have the same problem where after you’ve gotten far enough in the game the roses it produces and the rate it produces them isn’t enough compared to how much I need for my capos.
