You scroll through your video frame-by-frame to find the exact moment you connect with the ball, then specify where it landed. On top of this you can adjust the height your ball reached, the curve and how long it hung in the air for. All very well but it always takes me about a minute to get the app to freeze on the exact frame I want for ball connection - very frustrating. I suggest doing the manual Golf Tracer instead of the automatic tracing so that you can take it frame by frame and get it accurate. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not that difficult to do and you can customize it to make it look like you’re in a video game by adding your name, score, shot #, hole, and par. Plus you can add a distance marker that also makes the final product really neat. All my friends are jealous of it and want it! Best way to do it is just take video of shots during the round and do manual editing when you get home after the round is over, it’s too distracting to try and do during the round. Would suggest this to anyone looking to make the game a little more fun and share your golf outing with others via social media, photo stream, etc. Highly recommend this- worth the money! ### 5/5 — The BEST *2026-06-03, version 1.13* Not even close. Had too many issue and not very user friendly. However, when I download this app and started using to tracer video, I was shocked how good this app is. This app just need updates with new features and will become the best. I’ve cancelled by shot tracer subscription and fully using this app now. I hope to see new features coming to this app as I’m very happy.
