## What is The Great Duck Race?

A flotilla of rubber ducks go in the river. How many make it home?

The Great Duck Race is a small-town duck derby in your pocket: pour a flood of yellow ducks off the bridge and shepherd the entire flock downstream. Nudge the drifters back into the current. Flick the stuck ones free before they wear out. Ducks that grind on rocks turn orange, then red, then wash up on the bank, out of the race. The ones you miss are fine. They send regards.

Most games ask you to win.

This one asks you to protect.

There is no single racer to control and no rival to beat: just a flock that needs you, a river that does not care, and a number at the end that tells the truth. DUCKS SAVED: 87 out of 100. You will immediately want to try for 90.
THE COURSES

CLASS I: A gentle river through open meadows. No hazards, no hurry. Learn to herd. Wave to the cow.
CLASS III: Fast water through a green valley. Boulders, fallen trees, and a covered bridge that splits the river three ways.
CLASS V: The sawmill run. Good luck. Spinning blades, swinging booms, narrow flumes, and a quiet stretch of open water at the end for whoever makes it.

MAKE IT YOURS

Race with 10 ducks or 1,000. The flock size is the difficulty.
Slide the river speed from a lazy 25% to a frantic 200%.
Adopt a duck before the pour: pick the black one or the pink one and cheer it through the chaos. Or just marshal. The flock needs you either way.
