While it is well written and provides some interesting insight- as well as a few little puzzles in itself- I do not think it should be priced. If anything it provides a decent sample of the type of information you will be dealing with in the full experience and allures to why everything is happening. P.S. Though not necessarily a game, the Compendium provides glimpses of interactivity and puzzles that I'm willing to bet expand into a deeper world. With only two chapters available as of this review, I can tell something intriguing and strange is at hand.
