### 1/5 — Very poor app

*2025-02-11, version 18.92*

It’s far too clunky and frustrating to use. If this is where tickets from other providers is to be stored, it needs to vastly improve otherwise people will stop coming to such a great venue.
It’s a shame!!!!

### 1/5 — Issues with third party tickets

*2025-02-09*

I have never been so stressed by an app! Bought tickets from Ticketmaster who said to download this app. Downloaded it, signed up for an account, sent email verification so I could link my Ticketmaster account…no email. 13 more tries…no email. Go to linking account help page on the app “Error 404!” Well that takes me back! Emailed box office as there’s no phone number, 5 days to reply? Really? Eventually read the review on here from snorkelflip, issue solved, tickets retrieved, heart-rate lowered. You have to sign up for an AXS account, too. Utter waste of time.

### 1/5 — Appalling app

*2025-01-31*

Incredibly clunky, slow and frustrating to use. Set up an account in order to access tickets I’ve bought from another reputable outlet but the only way one can access their tickets is through this ridiculously painful app. Now, the app won’t let me access my account so I can check if my tickets to my upcoming gig are there. Waiting an eternity for a password reset which still hasn’t come through after an hour of trying. If I had a choice to avoid this app I would. I won’t be buying any future gig tickets for this venue until they get rid of this appalling & needless app

### 1/5 — Clunky and complicated

*2024-12-15*

What a saga getting the tickets sorted after they were bought from another reputable ticket sales site.
You have to setup an account for the halls which is a chore of password resets and hours waiting for reset emails to arrive.
Then if you’re successful you have to confirm your account from your email.
After finally getting onto the Halls app, you’ll click the Your Tickets tab in anticipation of reducing your stress levels.
Alas no, not so simple as that. You’re then take to another login page that makes absolutely no mention that you need to use a sign in for AXS tickets account, who you should have had no reason to visit considering tickets were bought from another sales site.
Three days of trying and absolutely no reply from the box office email address. Finally got it sorted after guessing that I may need an AXS account, I finally gained access.
Halls Box office don’t reply.
Thankfully Ticketmaster replied to say “go to customer service at the venue”

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2024-12-03, version 18.8*

The app just keeps showing the message “user session expired”.

### 1/5 — Terrible app for a great venue

*2024-11-28*

Downloaded the app and signed up. No confirmation email ever came. I requested it twice. Nothing in junk folder, I checked. Tried to list a ticket for sale but could not complete. Meaningless message kept coming up: Context id must not be empty. I asked the chatbot what this means. It didn’t know, of course it didn’t. Very frustrating

### 1/5 — Needlessly overcomplicated

*2024-11-26, version 17.9.1*

Another app you don’t need , needlessly overcomplicating the matter of accessing events

### 1/5 — A unnecessary evil

*2024-11-22, version 17.9.1*

I resent being made to use this

### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage

*2024-11-19*

Perhaps the worst app ever invented. Pray you never have to change your password. I’ve been trying for 6 hours now. Had to wait 5 hours for a password reset email that when I click on the link thinks I’ve already changed my password and won’t actually let me change of log in. Not even worth the one star option to be honest.

### 1/5 — What a disaster!

*2024-11-16*

What a cluster of a process. App didn’t send verification email for 12 hours, had to delete account and re-register. Then I had to create an AXS account, download their app and after a day of messing around I found my tickets.

No customers service or phone number for the Halls either. What are you doing?

### 1/5 — Awful

*2024-11-14, version 17.9.1*

Bought ticket elsewhere and had to use app in order to access ticket. Very convoluted. Not good

### 1/5 — Would have liked to give 0 stars

*2024-10-31, version 17.9.1*

Sadly, zero stars not an option. Your app makes Ticketmaster look like a quality outfit.

### 1/5 — So far, rubbish!

*2024-10-23*

Bought tickets on Ticket Master. Then got an email saying they would not be published via TM but instead I MUST use the Halls app. Email also said that I needed to register with the same TM email ID or I wouldn’t get my ticket.

Did all that but this app doesn’t allow me to log in. When I request digit password it shows as sending a reminder but it doesn’t.

Also contacted Halls but no reply.

Now I’m stuck in limbo having paid for tickets that I can’t get with an app that doesn’t work and an organisation that doesn’t respond.

1 star quite generous in the circumstances!

### 1/5 — As a Senior App UX Designer I found this app frustrating and inaccessible.

*2024-10-11*

As the title suggests, I'm a Senior UX Designer working for an agency that builds and designs apps. I recently had to use The Halls app to access my Rhod Gilbert tickets, originally purchased via Ticketmaster. The entire process was frustratingly inaccessible and overly complicated, leaving me questioning whether the developers were even aware of WCAG guidelines. To access my tickets, I had to create an account with The Halls app, as instructed in the Ticketmaster email. However, when I clicked on "Tickets," I was met with a series of cards advertising AXS, which confused me since I hadn’t purchased my tickets through AXS. Following the app's instructions to contact Ticketmaster for support, I reached out to both Ticketmaster and The Halls, but neither provided any useful help. After reading reviews, I decided to log into AXS, and only then did my tickets finally appear. Requiring users to juggle three accounts—Ticketmaster, The Halls, and AXS—is unnecessary. Ideally, The Halls app login should be linked to AXS, or there shouldn’t be a login requirement at all (as with Ticketmaster). Users should only need to log in to AXS for their tickets. I also recommend adding an onboarding experience to inform users upfront that they’ll need to create an account with The Halls and then log in to AXS for their tickets. The tickets page needs a redesign. Instead of confusing cards, there should be a simple AXS login with clear text like, "Log in to access your tickets." Additionally, the deep links on the settings page, such as "Linking Ticket Accounts" and "Help on linking accounts," are broken and display errors. These issues, along with others, are things your app agency should be addressing. Overall, the app is in dire need of a UX review, user testing, and proper QA testing. While the venue is excellent, the app is not living up to its potential, which is a real disappointment. To make matters worse, the average age of Rhod Gilbert’s audience was around 60, and I heard many people in the queue complaining about the ticketing process. Your app is not only inaccessible but also alienating an older demographic. Apps should enhance the experience, not frustrate users—especially when it’s part of attending an exciting event. I hope you consider these recommendations and give the app the attention it deserves.

### 1/5 — Login

*2024-10-10, version 17.9.1*

Unable to login, correct email correct password nothing reset password nothing. Tried to login with Facebook nothing, tried with Apple nothing. So now I can’t get my tickets. Oh and you HAVE to have the app before you can get your tickets.

### 1/5 — Ticket debacle

*2024-10-09*

What an absolute farcical way to try to obtain your tickets. After 5 attempts,5 passwords, a phone call to the Halls from the number given by Google, which incidentally puts you though to the museum, I was eventually granted access to a page where, I once again had to change my password, twice! I obtained my ticket, for safety purposes I took a screenshot, which , funnily enough, is NOT allowed. I even emailed the Halls via an AI robot, who informed me that “ I can not deal with this”! This is the 1st and last time we will visit .

### 1/5 — Error message

*2024-10-04*

I downloaded this app after booking tickets to Billy Ocean, the app keeps asking me to verify my email address but every time I try to verify it I receive a message say opps somethings gone wrong, I am panicking that I won’t receive the tickets via the app and no one who I have reached out to wants to help

### 1/5 — Clunky and unnecessary

*2024-08-03*

A clunky app that doesn’t integrate well with iOS. I’ve already purchased tickets and resent having to give my details to yet another platform just to access them. Furthermore, I signed up, verified my email address, clicked on My Tickets and was immediately asked to sign in again. When doing so, with the details I literally just registered with, it said my credentials were invalid. Absolute waste of time, tickets should just be emailed over at the time of purchase like from all other outlets.

### 1/5 — Unbelievably awful

*2024-07-15, version 17.9.1*

Purchased ticket through ticketmaster. Told to download this app , but there is no way to sign up as this App does not send verification email. Jesus Christ , just awful experience. Unbelievable!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Overcomplicated Junk

*2026-06-30*

“Improved user interface and in-app experience”. It’s an already low bar to achievement.

Your app is huge exercise in pointless frustration when trying to link an AXS account to it. Specifically, when you enable a passkey with AXS it discards the password that you initially set the AXS account up with.

There are two problems here: first is that your app does not make it clear that you are moving from one login system to another (this is very poor cyber security practice). Second, AXS having discarded the initial password means that any attempt to link accounts via your app fails because there is no longer a valid password for the AXS account and furthermore your app does not recognise this and offer the option of using your passkey.

On a related note: stop enforcing arbitrary limits on passwords. Why are they limited to 15 characters? Why can’t I use random words as per national guidelines from the National Cyber Security Centre?

Basically you need to up your game!

And I’m submitting the feedback here because surprise, surprise your feedback page fails! Total joke.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-05-20, version 18.94*

Useless! Do not use. Use main axs app

### 1/5 — Stupid login issues

*2026-05-16, version 18.94*

Just use the AXS app instead

### 1/5 — Difficult and Ridiculous

*2026-04-12, version 18.94*

The way to access tickets through this app is absolutely ridiculous the simple way of sending a PDF or giving a simple QR code is beyond description. I feel sorry for anybody having to use this method via App to see the tickets they spend money on to go to the venue. Avoid avoid avoid daffodil

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2026-03-27*

Purchased tickets from another site and had to download this POS app to get the actual E tickets. App downloaded, had to change passwords numerous times as it didn’t recognise them, and 3 days after purchasing tickets…… gig still not showing in “upcoming events”

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-08-14*

Bought tickets through ticketmaster and also seetickets (different emails). There’s no advice or provision on how I get tickets from 2 locations on to this app so that I can actually use them. Not to mention the autofill for all forms doesn’t work. Doesn’t let me access my card details. I had to reset my password immediately after creating the account. All round terrible app and they should be looking for a refund from whoever built it.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2025-04-27, version 18.92*

Spent hours trying to access tickets from this app. Absolutely hopeless

### 1/5 — Absolutely rubbish app to download tickets

*2025-04-27, version 18.92*

Tickets bought via ticketmaster but you have to use this app to get them - only you can’t and no one helps you!!! Really disgusting service!!

### 1/5 — Appalling

*2025-04-19*

When I have had to use the reviews for this app to figure out how to access tickets bought from another site, I think it’s safe to say it isn’t fit for use.
Seems you have to log in with an axs account to access tickets regardless of where they were bought. This is despite the app telling you to log in a different way to access those tickets!
Will be likely avoiding in the future.

### 1/5 — Awful ignore the where did you get your ticket button

*2025-04-01*

Got tickets through ticketmaster need to set up an axis account to log in to halls app after ignoring the button that says bought tickets from another provider if you press that and log in after setting up a halls account when you got to view tickets it just gives an error saying you have been logged out and to log back in through the wallet tab which doesn’t exist

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nile Rodgers and Chic

*2024-07-10*

I booked as soon as I saw this legend was coming to town.

I was blown away by the size of this man’s songbook. There were six of us ranging in age from 23 to 60 and we all had a fab time.
The stories he told and the link back to Wolverhampton was fabulous.

Great to see Beverley Knight as a special guest too.

My absolute fave was Bowie’s Let’s Dance.
It really was a night filled with love and hope. Great to see sooo many friends went too.

The Halls is just the best venue.

Only one minor point is the queuing at the bar and prices. OMG!

This morning I am truly lost in music 🎶🎤🎵🎼

### 5/5 — Spock

*2024-04-07, version 17.9.1*

Spot on venue

### 5/5 — The Halls

*2024-02-09, version 17.1*

The app is bang on dose exactly what you need, no messing about,
Very easy to use .,

### 3/5 — Ticketmaster Tkt

*2024-02-02, version 17.1*

Not clear how to access your ticketmaster tickets. It doesn’t sync. You have to make an account with same log on details as ticketmaster. This isn’t clear.

### 2/5 — What a faff!

*2026-05-26*

I agree with the other poor reviews of this App. It’s needlessly convoluted and frustrating. It seems that whatever you set as a password you’ll have to reset it for the App to recognise it. Seriously, be better.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t integrate with iPhone

*2024-07-12*

This is a dreadful app. Accessing your Wolverhampton event tickets on an iPhone inevitably involves waiting for an email to reset your password as the AXS app doesn’t save and remember passwords on an iPhone. Nor does the Wolverhampton / AXS app’s user registration page support iOS strong password generation, which is essential for mobile security in the 21st Century. For a digital ticketing company, this is worse than pathetic.

### 2/5 — Tickets

*2024-07-12, version 17.9.1*

No ability to load my tickets to my wallet meaning I will have to log into the app just prior to entering. Not great

### 2/5 — Awful experience with AXS App

*2024-04-04, version 17.9.1*

Awful experience with AXS App. I will choose different venue next time :(

### 2/5 — Crap app

*2023-09-13, version 16.3*

Would be so much better to just keep tickets within Ticketmaster app or share in wallet
