The Halo App is a private, community lending economy. The Halo App has created a marketplace where Backers and Borrowers can connect safely for small dollar loans, making peer-to-peer lending easy.
BACK WITH CONFIDENCE –
•Search through borrow requests within your community and across the app with simple and flexible filter tools.
• Select a borrow request that you are comfortable with backing and set your own terms.
• Once the borrower agrees to your terms, wait to receive your bi-weekly repayments.
BORROW EASILY –
• Request an amount between $100-$1000 and set the length of time you need to pay the amount back. Your request will be shared with our community of Backers for a match.
• You have control over the backing offers you accept. Accept the total amount to pay back that best suits your needs.
• Upon accepting a backing offer, the transaction is started immediately. Bi-weekly automated repayments can be managed and reviewed easily through the app.
SAFE AND SECURE –
• We use machine learning and global security networks for real-time fraud prevention and fake account detection.
• As breach prevention, we use best-in-class security tools and bank level SSL encryption to keep your information safe.
THE HALO SCORE –
• The Halo App believes that old-fashion credit scoring models that rely solely on credit history do not take into account other factors that make a person trustworthy. Our Halo Score uses thousands of data points-- including real-time data, traditional scoring models, and personal reputation-- to assess risk without limiting access.

Looking at the reviews, it looks like this app doesn’t work for anybody. That’s because, this app literally won’t even open for anybody. That’s disgusting. Out of all the reasons for this app to not work for somebody, it’s because the app just won’t load? That’s ridiculous.

I’m having trouble getting the app to open, I’ve reach out via messenger, commented on Facebook, I’ve even tried to send an email but I haven’t gotten a response. I was able to use the app up until this month, never got a loan offer but I was able to put in a request but now I can’t even open it. Is the company still in business?

I just download the app on 2/20/23 and, right after the first popup asking for permission to allow popups, I keep getting another vague error message:

Error — something went wrong. Please try again.
The button says “retry”

And then every time I click, I get the same message. I tried removing the app and downloading it again.

Download the app and an error keeps popping up. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and still doesn’t work. You really need to fix this or take the app down. It’s really frustrating. Especially if you need to get into the app if you have an active loan. I’ll keep checking if it gets fixed and then if so I’ll edit my review. For the time being if your looking for a peer to peer app Solo Funds is amazing.
