They are so well done, and I would be willing to pay for it, but I’m thinking $5 one time. Not $5 a month or $30 a year. No. Now you’re just being greedy. **Developer response:** The Heist is part of a larger game subscription service called GameClub — all-you-can-play access to a large library of curated games (including The Heist), with hundreds of hours of gameplay within the subscription. If you've purchased the game in the past, we want to make sure you can still have your original experience without subscribing. Please email us at support@gameclub.io and we'll help you out. Though full access is only included with a subscription, we're committed to letting everyone "try before you buy" — to play enough to get a sense of the game free of charge. We also offer a free trial (that you can cancel at any time) so you can play as many of the games in our library as much as you want before spending any money. Hope you take a look at our other titles to give them a try! ### 1/5 — It used to be completely free *2020-10-17* I had downloaded this game years ago when it was completely free. After feeling nostalgic and wanting to play it again it now requires a paid subscription. It has plenty of fun puzzles but nothing worth paying for. **Developer response:** Everyone who had our games previously should continue to have full access to the game without starting a subscription. However, in the case of The Heist, it is no longer possible to detect previous ownership automatically. Don’t. While on the face it is like the MacHeist we fondly remember, this is merely a facade to get you to sign up to some Game Deal for $7.99 a month. All you candy without subscribing fit your free month is 5 minutes (not even) worth of simple puzzles. Anything else after being unlocked prompts you to buy premium extras. However, I purchased this full game years ago in the days of iOS 5. What ruins the experience is that you get bombarded with a subscription demand from Game Club and after completing 4 of each levels, you are completely locked out of the game unless you subscribe. Game Clubs response on similar reviews tells the user to email them with previous purchase evidence and they will unlock the full game. Well, I have done this and have heard absolutely nothing. I have complied with their terms and conditions and still, I have no full access to the game. I will be reporting this as a scam to Apple and show them the evidence. All I can say is that this is a great compilation of puzzle games with an interesting setting of breaking into a vault by solving the puzzles. There wasn’t levels, there wasn’t experience. You would just play the puzzles. I never got to the end, always getting stuck around level twenty on the sliding wires puzzles. I’ve tried the whole email to get the game back and it does work, they get back to you quickly and they’re very efficient. but because of the fact that it’s turned from a game that you can really get into and really have fun with to one where you have to pay to even get to level four, with an entire library of games that you might not want, it’s not worth buying it unless you do want the huge amount of other games. If you are just now finding this game, I’m so sorry you missed on the old version- but this new version is just as good if you can, do ask to get it back if you’re from the past, it’s still got all the wonderful puzzles from back then, it’s still a good game. My son has auditory processing discorded and brain teasers are a great way to help his condition. Sadly I now have to pay $5 a month to play a game I used to have full access to for free?
