## What is The Helmsman?

Plan a route from the car. Tell Helmsman where you’re going, pick the place, tap Go. Apple Maps opens on CarPlay.

Google Maps and Waze work too if that’s what you use.

Helmsman looks up real map results. It does not invent pins and it does not do turn-by-turn. You plan the trip here. Maps drives.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Set a start and an end — not just “from here”
• Add a stop, remove a stop, or change the destination
• Hand the whole trip to Maps
• Save Home and Work once, then say take me home
• While parked, use a contact’s street address when you ask for someone by name
• Show distances in miles or kilometers

CARPLAY
Ask Siri to talk to Helmsman, then speak normally. There is no extra wake word. The wheel button is still Siri.

WHAT’S FREE
Drive, Go, saved places, CarPlay, and opening Maps stay free. You do not need Plus to start a route.

HELMSMAN PLUS
Talk is Plus. $9.99 a month for 45 minutes of voice. A new install includes 90 seconds so you can try it. Top off 15 minutes for $4.99 if you run out.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore Purchases anytime with the same Apple ID.

What changed: hook up front, scannable sections, same facts and legal block, less run-on prose. Prices stay because Review expects them for auto-renewable subscriptions; they can still vary by storefront.
