Rest of the apps are working just fine, its just the hindu epaper app. ### 3/5 — Please act on feedback *2025-11-21* The problem with the app is if one is reading an article by opening it the app should show the complete article irrespective of the fact the that the part of article is on different pages. Currently one has to close the article then scroll through pages and then jump on to the page where the rest of the article is. The reason one moves to digital news is for convenience. I just wish the buffer issue can be solved because I’ve had to go out of the app, refresh the app multiple times before it opens, and if I’m given breaks of 20 mins I don’t want to spend 5-8 mins trying to open the app. **Developer response:** Hi Raagniya, Thank you for your feedback and rating. Every time I leave the app and try to open the newspaper again, it takes another 5-10 minutes. This makes it frustrating and really inconvenient. I’m someone who is getting frustrated everyday after seeing such bad technicalities of the Hindu app. The app doesn’t allow me to change from one addition of the newspaper to another, sometimes from one date to another. Tried installing and uninstalling this on my Mac, but even after doing this multiple times, I feel overwhelming to see such bad response from the app! The Hindu ePaper app takes the major space. But there’s no provision to delete old issues. When I zoom and read an article it routes me a blog like page on finger touch. Would be great if you guys provide some option to enable and disable it. There are few other newspapers that stand near to Hindu’s reputation. However, none of the other outlets have managed to publish an app that gives the reader the same comfy as you would get while reading the print version. But the reader view only allows to change the font size. It does not allow font styles, Background colours, highlighting, etc. I don’t want to bright light flashing on my face when I am catching up on news after work. I can read articles individually though. But I regularly use this app on my iPad to get the feel of reading the actual newspaper. However, there is one issue that has persisted for quite some time and needs attention. When opening an article that contains multiple embedded images, only one image is visible, while the remaining images are not accessible. Moreover, even the displayed image does not open when tapped for a larger view. Even though we get the print newspaper every morning I hardly read the print paper but the introduction of this e-paper has changed that and now for the past few years I regularly read the editorial and op-Ed pages. The formatting is nice and more enjoyable than the print. The last two pages of context are a very nice addition. I am able to access the articles only when I am opening the reader. This defeats the whole purpose of an e paper subscription when I can’t even see all the articles only one page.
