Over the years it has slowly been loosing it ability though to work with some vendors. Most recently the MyQ functionality no longer works. Hoping the writing isn't on the wall. ### 4/5 — Works ok so far *2022-07-18, version 4.4.6* I run my smart home on Hubitat and wanted a better Dashboard to run on a tablet and iphone. This App is functional on my iphone and has allowed integration of Hubitat, Honeywell, Sonos. Its fairly intuitive to set up the basics but some documentation would be helpful. For example, how do you remove a group? I bought the pro version but it looks no different to the free one. There are no instructions in the App on how to import a dashboard created in the desktop designer software. The biggest plus is that its easy to use so my wife will likely use it. ### 3/5 — Starts with a white screen. *2022-04-17, version 4.4.6* This is a great app, but it starts with a white screen(and it goes to dark mode only after a few seconds), even when it is set to dark mode and it is really annoying when you are using it in a home theater. It happens on Android and IOS. It should be very simple to solve. I'm guessing you are referring to ecobee. There was a bug that prevented new users from adding that device. Issue should be fixed now in the latest release. Integrations have stopped working because he isn’t maintaining it anymore unfortunately. ### 1/5 — Not sure about this app *2022-09-05* It seemed great at first and I even bought the business edition login. That said the app appears to only sync a portion (176) of my SmartThings devices (across two hubs and 280 devices). A lot of devices are missing. The business edition login doesn’t even seem to work even after paying for it. I kinda just gave up on trying to use that particular feature. However I am trying to use more but finding it limited since it can only partially sync devices. Hopefully I just missed something that needed to be done or a feature enabled. ### 1/5 — Well this doesn’t work at all *2021-05-09, version 4.1.4* If you have ewelink don’t bother with this app does not work with it at all. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE *2021-01-16, version 3.17.0* When I try to add a device on my iPad it legit just asks me WHICH HONEYWELL APP DO YOU USE then I click a random thing it starts spamming the entire ui with random smart home services DO NOT INSTALL. ### 1/5 — Connects to controller otherwise, does nothing *2020-08-07* Was hoping to be able to see my cameras and maybe control locks, lights, thermostat from my phone. But this app only indicates it is aware of the devices, and otherwise nothing happens. I can see through the cameras, or see temperatures, or anything. I’m using a Vera Lite, and despite the documentation saying it’s supports it, I suspect home remote simply doesn’t. It’s a shame, because the dashboard looks well designed and easy to use. **Developer response:** You'll have to add your devices to a Group in order to control them & see their status. It sounds to me like you added them on the Settings page & never assigned them to any Group. I typically encourage users when adding their devices to do so on the Home page. That way it'll automatically add tiles for all of your devices to that Home page. When you add devices on the Settings page you'll have to manually assign them to groups so there's an extra step. In case you have trouble viewing your cameras through our Vera connection, you may want to connect to them directly through our "IP Camera" device. I'm not sure how well the cameras will stream through the Vera API. Definitely try it through Vera, I just wanted to let you know that there is another alternative that'll let you view the live video directly from the camera. I promise I will get you up & going. -Bill ### 1/5 — Doesn’t support MQTT *2020-01-07, version 3.0.7* Their support page says it does, but there is no way to add an MQTT “device”. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work with NEST *2019-12-27* Doesn't work with nest accounts that are linked to Google, which ALL new nest users will be since Nest is now part of Google. Makes no sense. I will change my rating whenever Nest service gets added which was the only reason I used this app. **Developer response:** Google discontinued the Nest API program in 2019. This wasn't our decision to remove support. They have announced an upcoming "Device Access Program" program however this hasn't been released yet. I can assure you once it is, Nest will be added back to the app. -Bill ### 1/5 — Requires a Windows PC, apparently *2019-12-02, version 2.12.2* For the devices I wanted to use, I had to configure them using their software which can be downloaded on any “Windows PC” It’s completely misleading to say those devices are supported in the app description when actually they’re only supported if I get another device, install Windows on it, and then install their other software first. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2019-02-25, version 2.12.0* Just download it. It connected to only one of my nest cameras but couldn’t switch to other cameras or do anything else. Removed ### 1/5 — Osram *2018-07-15, version 2.2.145* The new update was supposed to allow you to copy and paste a code from the Lightify website except you can’t paste it, every time you return to the app it opens the website ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great WeMo Alternative *2025-07-10* Now that WeMo is ending their cloud service, this is a perfect alternative for local control of WeMo devices. And it looks like the app was just updated a few months ago so hopefully the developer will continue to support the app. ### 5/5 — Highly Customizable *2021-10-25* I was a user of the now discontinued VeraMate application, and I was looking for a user interface that could give me the data I needed at a glance. I constructed a VeraMate replacement user interface with all of the data and control functions I needed in under two days. There is one thing it seems I cannot do, dynamic tile reordering. When a device is "inactive," it will leave a blank space in the device browser. When the device is "active," it will then fill in that space. A few notes on customizing: The app will run without Designer using default groups. Highly customizable with Designer. A Windows machine is required to run Designer. Designer has a mild learning curve. Some programming knowledge is helpful. I really like this program, and it definitely fulfilled my needs. If you dig in and learn the Designer operating principles, I think you'll be very happy with the end result. ### 5/5 — Excellent app and support *2021-10-08* Control all of the devices listed from one, simple to use, app. Download the desktop app and you can modify or build your own design. Works great on IPhone and IPad. The developer is quick to respond if you have an issue. Thank you for providing a device remote app that actually look like a remote and not a jumbled mess with misspellings. ### 5/5 — Great Product *2021-06-05, version 4.2.0* This works great with hubitat, so much that I have retired the dashboards for now and use the home remote. The only thing would be nice if you have Z-wave lights that where turned on manually at the switch you could send out a API call to update all Z-wave lights to show there new state.. I did this on hubitat dashboards that when you enter a Dashboard with Z-wave lights it would use http field to do the API request. Just nice thing to have.
