They need to fix all the bugs ### 2/5 — Queue *2026-07-15, version 4.4.1* Why is it that when I request a ride and tell me it’s 17 mins until pick up and then check back says 9 mins and then wait 10 mins I’m still at 9 mins. Can you fix your system where person in queue gets picked up at the appropriate time that is scheduled. Same thing goes for when getting dropped off why after I get picked up we do go around the block and pick up another person where I was just picked up and do that and more times? Make the system work better this is getting annoying. I used be able to get rides within 19 minutes of booking them but out of nowhere every ride booked is a fourty minute wait like. As I wait I’ll see four or five different vans riding past me. ### 2/5 — False time Fort Hood *2026-06-15, version 4.4.1* The time it tells you you will arrive is inaccurate it’s a good service for if you need a ride as on the weekend but if you have an apt make sure you request the ride to drop you off at least an hour before your apt because the hop system will continue to add people and will extend your time in the van or vehicle for another 20 minutes at a time ### 2/5 — Needs reasonable time *2026-06-15, version 4.4.1* I’m a on base barracks soldier I live like a 3-4 minute drive to the Dfac I got my food and waited got on and the driver took the longest route possible and what could’ve been a Just a few minutes drive down the road turned into a near hour long ride now I’m late ### 2/5 — App is buggy *2026-06-14, version 4.4.1* The app is extremely buggy and will at times just stop working entirely (as in not being able to book a ride). If you try to rely on this for travel, at some point you may end up stranded. ### 3/5 — Reviewing the APP not the HOP *2025-08-21, version 4.1.9* Edit to add: Today I had a trip booked that apparently did not have a bus attached to the trip. How is it possible to book a trip, supposedly not select a bus type (as HOP cust svc claimed is what happened when i called to inquire as to the lack of bus at arrival time) and then still receive multiple updates about what time my bus would arrive??? If it’s true I neglected to tap on a bus choice, why did the app allow me to complete the trip booking? Why did I receive regular updates about this allegedly non-existent bus arriving? Did I book a phantom bus? Makes no sense and I had to secure other transport to work. I would love a way to edit my trips because when I notice I made an error after booking, I am forced to cancel and re-book. Canceling even more than 24 hours in advance of a pickup time can trigger a message that claims you have canceled within 30 minutes of a pickup and now your account is under review. This is so upsetting and d unreasonable! Please allow us to edit our actual trips after they are booked! What if I decide to leave work a little early? Or I want to go somewhere different after work. Or maybe I accidentally booked the trip for AM instead of PM. I can’t just fix them! It can take about 45 minutes to an hour to wait in the van and an extra 15 minutes to get to your destination, even if your destination is closer than other riders. ### 2/5 — Late *2025-07-21, version 4.0.62* It takes forever to pick up and drop off new soldiers depends on this service especially the ones that doesn’t have a vehicle to get around there should be no reason why it takes 50 minutes to get picked up if you guys short vans order more people have a sense of urgency especially the ones that are serving that has a time to be a certain place that’s putting careers at risk it’s really frustrating ### 1/5 — Literally the worst possible public transportation *2025-07-01, version 4.0.62* Wanna get somewhere fast? Want affordable transportation? Want a stable career? Want a loving relationship with your family? Well don’t look here. Because the HOP wont just take 2 hours to get you somewhere that is a 30 min walk, it will also; make you get in trouble with leadership because it decided to go around your destination and than off the map until it stopped, make your wife divorce you and take the kids with her boyfriend shaqueese because you keep arriving home at 2 am after being released at 5pm, and make you sacrifice more time than any money you had could afford, just to get from point A, to point B. Make sure to let everyone know ahead of time that you will be a millenia late to anything thanks to the HOP, I really hate the HOP. ### 1/5 — dookie water *2025-04-28, version 3.31.7* bad timing, not enough drivers ### 1/5 — Very slow *2025-03-13, version 3.31.4* It’s good for being cost effective and cheap travel but I waited a half an hour more than the time I booked at 0900 and it didn’t get me until 0920 and still didn’t drop me off at a good time either ### 1/5 — Very atrocious put together app *2025-02-27* This app is absolutely atrocious for those of us who have visual impairments and have to use the built-in screen reader known as voiceover for iOS while stuff reads, when you go to do things like buy tickets you can’t exactly do that with voiceover because once you select the type of ticket you want you can’t do anything else like buy your ticket. It’s dimmed Either learn how to develop a nap and do it right or hand over every responsibilities to Uber or Lyft, who actually know how to make their app accessible. This kind of app development is very unacceptable to me as a person who uses apps every single day on my phone. If I were running this App Store, this app would not be allowed based on the fact that VoiceOver does not work very well with it. Buying tickets really needs to be improved with voiceover. I’ve seen bus/transportation stop awnings and I’ve seen the hop there. I just can’t for the life of me figure out how to schedule them to pick me up and drop me off. I’m simply trying to get picked up under the green bus stop/awning in Copperas Cove, TX and go to Advent/Main Metroplex hospital/CTC area. This is unacceptable in this day and age that an app that can be made accessible with VoiceOver just flat out, refuses to be And it’s unacceptable for a pair of transit company like this one who talks a big game about Accessibility that they just want to develop an app and not really test it with VoiceOver very thoroughly. Please fix these problems. ### 5/5 — Terrible *2025-05-20, version 3.31.7* This system is terrible. Let me tell you why. Yes it is very helpful when not having a ride. It’s the booking that’s the problem. You can book days in advanced and drivers are still be 45 minutes late. When leaving a place to get back home it takes them a very long time to pick back up. You’re better off using your feet to walk then this you don’t gotta wait 45 minutes for them. Another thing is when I’m assigned to a certain bus but not popping up on the drivers roster having to end up waiting for another hop. The app is easy to use, and allows me to schedule more specifically the times that I want to be picked up at.
