### 5/5 — love the design!!

*2024-10-15, version 1.1.0*

beyond being a mental health/journaling app, it has such a nice aesthetic. I really like the way it’s designed. it is somewhat simple but it doesn’t need to be complicated. I like the encouraging quotes as well.

### 5/5 — Love

Always loved TWLOH since finding them at warped tour! Love this app 🫶🏻

### 5/5 — Recommended from Propellor

*2024-10-08, version 1.1.0*

Tried out this app because of the website Propellor. I like that you can journal every day, it seems very productive and organized to track how you feel every day, and staying organized is very important to me. There are many resources on this app and you should try it, no matter how much you’re struggling.

### 5/5 — I love it so far!

*2024-10-06, version 1.1.0*

I just downloaded the app and I haven’t had to pay any payments, I do see it allows you to track your mood daily and gives you a journal prompt/question to answer which I think is so lovely. I think in the fast paced world it can be hard to find the time to reflect on how you’re feeling. It took me less than 5 minutes and it’s right here in my phone, which most people always have their phone near them. It’s a great way to track your mental health. I’m excited to see what else it has to offer

### 5/5 — Journal + Motivation

*2024-09-24, version 1.1.0*

I enjoy the journal prompts which can make it easier to think of what to write. I also like the daily motivation at the top. Sometimes i need a cheesy little quote. I just wish it had a dark mode!’

*2024-09-23, version 1.1.0*

I’ve tried quite a few different journaling/self care apps and this one seems to be my favorite so far! I haven’t used it for too long but I can tell by the layout and the content that it will help me decompress daily!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 3/5 — Simple Enough

*2024-07-08*

I want to start this by saying I understand how this app could be useful to some people. It gives you a motivational quote, a mood checker, and a moment to journal. Apps like these can be great tools for people who struggle to build habits like myself. I think the fact that the emotion tracking tool also can be shown on a calendar could be very helpful for tracking mood patterns and understanding your progress over time if you are struggling to not be struggling all the time.

That said, I have a few issues. The first being the inability to change your name. I made my account by signing up with apple. Apple has my deadname, because I cannot currently be out to everyone who has access to it. Not being able to change my name in apps isn’t something I run into often and it makes me uncomfortable to see that name there. I will also say the motivational quotes are also really corny and a bit shallow. The emotion tracking system uses very few and very ambiguous emotions which, though it might help the calendar be more visually helpful for tracking, makes it difficult to engage with as an autistic person. I know myself and I know if this were to become a part of my daily routine I would simply choose the middle option every time.

There are articles and other stuff which I appreciate, but I personally haven’t found anything I found super compelling in those.

That’s it. Nothing groundbreaking, a couple small issues, probably just not for me.

### 4/5 — Great tool!

*2025-01-23, version 1.1.0*

I’ve been slowly spiraling into a dark place for a few months. The election certainly isn’t doing me any favors. I finally found some motivation to get out of the fog. Donating to organizations has helped but this app is also a nice way to track emotions and find resources. There are some good articles and I’m glad I found this!

### 4/5 — Mood Log is Essential!

*2024-09-26, version 1.1.0*

As someone who works in the mental health field and has my own struggles, it is important to track and monitor moods. Sometimes it can be difficult to keep up with, so a quick streamlined process is appreciated. I’ve been familiar with TWLOHA since being introduced to their organization at Warped Tour (so back in the days..) and I’m happy to see they are still maintaining their mission.

### 4/5 — clear and helpful

*2024-09-08, version 1.1.0*

love the message and the app is super clear, easy access, and cute!!! motivating and helps keep track of progress and mood

### 4/5 — thank you!

*2024-08-18, version 1.1.0*

Self love is the best love! Thank you for putting this app together to uplift!

### 4/5 — Great App

*2024-08-15, version 1.1.0*

I downloaded this app through Propeller and was immediately impressed by the features. The articles and stories I’ve read so far have been interesting reads and the mood/journal is easy to use. While it is a bit simplistic compared to most paid apps like it, it shines far above every free app I’ve used.

### 4/5 — Love

*2022-10-14, version 1.0.6*

I like the fact that you can journal and if you pick that you’re having a rough day it will give you options of getting help or doing self care!! the suggestions when you click self care are very helpful. I also like that the journaling part gives you a prompt in case you’re not sure what to write about. Overall i like the app!!

### 4/5 — Really helpful

*2022-08-21*

I really love this app—it helps me keep track of my progress with managing my mental health over time. Especially when I’m really down on myself and caught up in my emotions, it really helps that I can go through old entries and see that I’m still getting somewhere. 💛

There’s a bug in the app that keeps throwing me off and I was wondering if it could be fixed in the next update. Any journal entries made on the 30th and 31st days of the the month are not available to open on the calendar view, and sometimes they actually get saved onto to the calendar month view, which can be confusing for tracking mood over longer periods of time.

Thank you for developing this app! It makes a world of difference.

### 4/5 — Love this app!

*2021-07-20, version 1.0.2*

I love that this app not only gives you tips on self care, but also gives links to reading material to connect with others who are going through the same processes as you. The only improvement I would like to see is more scientific/medical articles included in reading.

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2024-11-05, version 1.1.0*

I’ve only just got the app an hour or two ago but already i feel so at home. I was looking for an app to journal and i just haven’t loved my other options and with ADHD it makes it difficult to sit down and write. I tested probably 6 other apps but the hopeful is different, The journaling is simple and the little emojis are so cute and i love the article features. I don’t have to pay or search hard to find articles that resonate so hard to myself. I already know this app is going to do amazing things for me.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2024-10-22, version 1.1.0*

This app is a great tool for daily self love and support.
