My IPad is updated to the latest version. I paid for digital issues that I cannot even download, as the app fails to open. I’ve reached out to App support and to the Doctor himself three different times. I only heard back only once , however with no solution how to get the app to work. It’s a gallery of magazine covers listing key contents but you can’t access any individual content without paying for the entire magazine. And least in the shop you can flip through to see if the contents are relevant to you. You can’t tell from just a feature’s title if it’s going to be worth the cost of the entire magazine. If there’s another article you want to read in another issue you can’t even get a preview, you have to buy the whole issue. Nearly a fiver a pop. That’s what ‘in-app purchases’ means for this app. At least with other apps you get actual content for free, and then can upgrade for more features.
