The Hummingbird Whisperer is a free pocket field journal and community hub for hummingbird enthusiasts. Log sightings, browse the species guide, explore migration flyways, and share photos with a community of fellow birders. Includes a full Feeder Care Guide, nectar recipes, and a searchable North American species database.

The Plant Guide now features 10 additional hummingbird-friendly plants, including Anise Hyssop, Bee Balm, Cardinal Flower, Desert Willow, and more — bringing the total to 20 plants. The Plant Guide screen has also been streamlined for a cleaner, simpler look.

Daily Feed fixes — The feed was sometimes appearing blank after closing and reopening the app. It now loads reliably every time, and your most recent posts are cached so the feed appears instantly on startup even before a network connection is established.

Hummingbird Emergency — The Emergency section is now fully accessible. Tap any category — Emergency Care Instructions, Find a Wildlife Rehabilitator, Window Strike Help, and more — to open the detailed guide.
