I check on it once a day, and just kind of forget about it until the next. The music is so fitting for the foreboding nature of the concept the game is based on. More than 3 guesses a day would be nice, but I understand the limitation. Not to worry though, this game gives you a lot of items to start you off, so it’s definitely not as Pay2Win as other games on the App Store. I love the mixture of the foreboding nature of the concept as well as the silly campiness of a system of birds being your only defense against a lethal snail. There's no ads (my main worry), so that's great. I like the artstyle, it's cute, and the game looks like it's getting current maintenance. The pigeon stuff is perfect. There is one bug I found where whenever I open it, there's a small chance it sends me to the new game screen. Closing and reopening fixes this, but it is a bug. That's all; awesome game, please keep adding more content! It’s not something you’re gonna spend hours grinding on, but rather a daily puzzle to solve quick. I love the style of the game and the concept, and I think that, for the game it’s going for, it’s 5 stars. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Inaccurate Location *2026-08-22* Great game but often the location can be highly inaccurate. There have been instances where I have located the exact spot, only for it to have the “correct” location miles away. Example: one picture clearly showed the snail by a building with the sign Ochiltree County Courthouse, which is located in Perryton, TX. But the “correct” location of the snail is in Booker, TX, which is a town over, 16 miles away. **Developer response:** The snail moves constantly, so it won’t stay at the location it was spotted at for too long. Sightings are to be treated as where the snail has been, not where it’s at. ### 3/5 — No dice *2026-08-16, version 1.4* I don’t really understand the game. But every moment it just comes up as “no dice” and there’s barely any tutorial. ### 4/5 — Fun daily game, needs more information up front. *2026-07-15* Super fun to play for ~10 minutes a day, but it’s unclear how much time you have to catch the snail. Can he cross the globe in a day? Can I keep tracking him over the course of a week, or am I screwed if I don’t catch him within my 3 daily guesses?
