Most profiles smoked, desperately wanted kids, or lived in another city. And I got tired of manually checking those details in 10 profiles a day and dismissing all of them. So I decided to pay the £20 and set the filters so I might only see men I find compatible on some basics. After a few days I realised that I was still being served up smokers, people from different cities, and people who wanted kids. The filters do not work. I was getting only 2-3 profiles per day instead of 10 and they didn’t fit the filters. Why am I getting all those notifications when someone likes me when I can’t see who that is? As a customer, I really don’t care that you need to make sales. I care about my user experience and those notifications are just annoying. How are they effective for me if they’re not getting me dates (like the matches)? Your goal should be to get us more matches and dates, not to annoy us with your pushy sales strategy. It didn’t make me buy, it made me delete the app, as much as I like the concept.
