## What is The Island App?

The Island is a location-based community app designed to facilitate social connections in the real world. Available for use only in pre-defined real-world locations - we call them "islands" - the app helps users socialize with like-minded people, who are in the same "island", at the same time.

The Island is a social app like no others, providing a new exciting way to communicate and interact with other people on site.

Packed with social features - including the ability to "say hi" to other users in the "island", browse video stories, send private messages, post on public channels, etc. - the app offers a great way of socializing in the moment.

The Island has solutions tailored to the needs of the student housing, co-living, and senior living sectors, to help facilitate communication between members of their communities.
