It includes the Shrine of the Book, an architectural icon, which is home to the renowned Dead Sea Scrolls, representing the oldest surviving copies of biblical texts. The Shrine complex also incorporates a large-scale model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period.

يُعدّ متحف إسرائيل اكبر مؤسسة ثقافية في دولة إسرائيل ومن بين ابرز متاحف الفنون والآثار في العالم. يضم المتحف هيكل الكتاب، الذي يعتبر احد ابرز المباني المعمارية في البلاد، تُعرض فيه مخطوطات البحر الميت المعروفة بكونها أقدم نسخة للكتاب المقدس. الى جانب هيكل الكتاب يوجد نموذج ضخم  للقدس في عهد الهيكل الثاني. كما ستجدون في المتحف ايضا معارض دائمة تتناول الفنون، الآثار والحضارة اليهودية وتشمل معروضات نادرة ورائعة. كل عام يعرض المتحف أيضا العديد من المعارض المتغيّرة التي تتناول مواضيع مختلفة، من بينها معرض خاص للأطفال والشبيبة. يشمل الدليل الرقمي جولات منظمة في المعارض الدائمة المختلفة وجولات خاصة في المعارض المتغيّرة.
