This game has potential but why have the developers put in the irritating vibration of the box and blackening of the screen which disrupts your play. I know what they are trying to achieve but it just doesn’t work. I really enjoyed the bird cage games but this one sadly is not of the same standard. I deleted in the end because it was too annoying.

So, the game is great! But.. how are you supposed to beat the green pack when it doesn’t even give you enough time to do the puzzles? I’m doing them quickly, but it keeps making me restart before I can finish the last puzzle on level 12

The puzzles are just too easy. 

So instead of making the puzzles more challenging or creative…. The developers focused on creating stress and complications on the players themselves. 

The box is constantly jumping around…pause and wait. 
The lights flicker… scene goes dark … pause and wait. 
The Jack-in-the-box comes out and jump scares you…pause and wait.

Half the game is waiting and trying to just get to the puzzle. 

And of course, the “horror” background music …which is mostly tension-building and repetitive.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews for any developer/game. But this one has a tolerance level not everyone is at. 

If you don’t mind being visually assaulted and in a constant state of anxiety while playing a puzzle…then you might like this one.  I’ll pass.

I’m not a fan of timed puzzles and just don’t feel like it’s worth $6. Cute but not great.

This is a fun game (the puzzles start off crazy easy, but they’re just teaching you the conventions for later puzzles). The biggest problem is that there are also Hidden Object puzzles. 

I avoid hidden object games because my eyesight is not great and the phone is already tiny. Now that I’ve figured out what’s going on, I’ve accepted that I have to enlarge the screen and scan every pixel — I know I’m not the game’s demographic, so that’s fine. I just wish I had known ahead of time. 

You can play it without the hidden objects, but then you don’t get to go to evil clown heaven at the end. And really, shouldn’t everyone be welcome in evil clown heaven? I’m just saying.

I get it: The menacing clown is the central theme. And I don’t mind him popping out every now and then to annoy me. But the constant banging from inside the box is not really artful; it’s disruptive annoying — and it’s pretty distracting when I’m trying to solve a particularly knotty puzzle. Maybe “Turn Banging Off” could be an option in the settings.

Game is too easy and relies heavily on interrupting your puzzles instead of challenging you. Embedding the 2nd puzzle pieces on the box was clever but once you knew they were simple to find and didn’t require revisits to levels.

Thought the expert levels would get tough but they took barely any extra time. Less than a day of entertainment all up.

I love this game, but I have now played every Part One of each level and the Epilogue.  But now I can’t figure out how to get to play the Part Two if each level and collect the second half of the puzzle pieces.  HELP!

How do you get ALL the puzzle pieces?  Played the full game twice and still only get 10 out of 20 pieces on each box.

I really enjoy this game. I’ve been trying to find one like this that gets my mind working. It’s a great Concept. I only wish it was harder and the levels had more to them or went on longer. After spending 6 quid i found I was halfway through so quickly and not much of a challenge, the puzzles repeat themselves just look slightly different, once you got the hang of it once you no the rest. And sadly it’s over working my phone. It’s the only app and game I use that really heats up the back of my phone as I play, like noticeable hot!

Скачивал ожидая игру уровня the room, но игра намного слабее. Задания простые и крайне однотипные. Играть можно только если подключить телефон на зарядку(игра съедает батарейку очень быстро)

I was so happy to find similar to the birdcage, however There is no indication on any side of the boxes what the puzzle is & how to solve it. Worse still is the hint, which I love, also gives no indication how it is solved. Now having said that, don’t misunderstand me, these games are still far and away better than many.  But I still love the birdcage games the best, I guess because you get to release the bird in the end. However I digress, one other thing on the boxes is the occasional shaking during any play. It breaks concentration & delays solve time
So please make more birdcage games & I will gladly, happily pay for more. And these puzzle games are so-o-o great. I may find the boxes hard but still fun and relaxing & I repeat, miles above the rest.  
Okay I’m done.  Except to say. Thank you guys for your trouble, time & expertise.

I only got one puzzle piece. I’m supposed to get 2. I don’t know how to get the second one or what creates them. I cannot repeat the tutorial to find out what happens when the box shakes or WHY the box shakes. The words disappeared too fast, and now I cannot access the tutorial again. Frustrating!

Puzzles are simple and repetitive. The room series is far superior in every way and costs less. Flickering black screen is annoying, just interferes with gameplay. Biggest gripe is that the app is causing my phone to overheat and plough through battery life faster than any other app I’ve ever used. Subsequently deleted the app, but my battery efficiency has been significantly affected by using this app. Not happy

After purchasing extra play it was so not fair. Unable to play at all. Full of glitches and can’t finish the puzzle even when following the clue given. Tried numerous times.

This is a great game BUT there is absolutely NO instructions on what to do, not even a hint like move the pieces.
No instructions or hint on how to get ALL the jigsaw pieces.
I’ve completed the red box & have collected 10 of the 20 jigsaw pieces but how do you get the 2nd 10??
I tried playing it again but no help there.
If your going to make a game at least have the commonsense to tell the players how to play.
This only needs to be basic instructions as in when you complete the 1st 10 puzzles in each box click here to start the 2nd 10 puzzles.
If this game improves with updates so will my star ranking.

29/4/2020,
I’ve now got to a level that is impossible to play.
I have tried every combination movements but nothing moves the progress bar even the smallest bit.
This reinforces my previous comments that without some sort of instructions this game cannot be played to its full extent.
I have downgraded my stars to 1.
Good app ruined by the developers.

Awesome game, guys. Many brilliant puzzles, and love AR! That tops it off. So yeah! Nice game, love it, and I want a game where you can climb in the Jackbox, and there are puzzles in there you need to solve. Also, make the clown jumpscare a bit scarier. I really want to be shocked. So continue your cool, fun, puzzling, scary games. Bye!😘

Like some of the other folks who downloaded and played this game, the first time I played it I did notice that my phone heated up a good bit.  Nothing that seemed super dangerous, but definitely could’ve become a problem after playing for any prolonged length of time.  

I went into the settings and did two things:

1. I turned the graphics quality to low.
2. And I turned the Haptics off.  

These two adjustments seemed to make a difference in how much AND how quickly the phone would heat up.  It didn’t get nearly as hot as it did the first time.  Whoever wants to give a try and see if it helps, you’re more than welcome to.  Hope it helps!  

Also, FYI, it helps if you play five or six rounds, take a break, and then come back and do some more.  You just can’t stay on it for hours at a time or it will eventually heat up to a concerning point.  

As far as my review on the game, I gave it five stars cause it’s super fun and if you’re playing at night and it’s kinda dark,  the chance of the clown jumping out adds a nice touch of suspense!! Keep up the good work developers!!

I really like this app, the eerie background is really cool and the puzzles are simplistic yet can be tricky. The game has a slight nostalgic feel to it for me which I’m yet to put my finger on. Nice work!
