The puzzles are just the right level of difficulty to gently challenge without becoming frustrating. Super stimmige Umsetzung in Charakteren, Szenenbildern, Dialogen und nicht zuletzt in der Musik. Irgendwie kann es so ein Spiel konsequenterweise auch nur im Original mit englischen Untertiteln geben. Jede Übersetzung und sei sie nur schriftlich zerstört die Atmosphäre. Da kann ich gut auf eine deutsche Fassung verzichten, zumal der Preis ja nun wirklich mehr als fair ist. Wie kann man sich hier nur über den Preis aufregen, hier stecken Jahre an Arbeit drin. While I’ve enjoyed many, none have lived up to that experience. I started to believe it was just a nostalgic reverence that made the experience more special than it really was. Now, at age 38, just occasionally playing escape the room games on my iPhone, I stumbled on “The Journey Down” and WOW! It has all the magic you could possibly desire in a point-and-click adventure game. And it hurts me, but I’m gonna day it.....I... I.... I think it’s better than Monkey Island!! Go ahead, SkyGoblin, more games like this please :-D ### 5/5 — Immersive and beautiful game *2020-06-07* I started on the journey down trilogy with scepticism as they had so few reviews and were £4 plus but gave them a go after a few weeks of hesitation. The point and click is great as you can watch the animation or skip. The graphics are so good that even on an iPhone XR screen you can identify the objects you need to collect. The storyline is fantastic and sucked me in and you really connect with the hilarious characters, particularly Bwana. Overall the attention to detail and the well written story left me with a desire to go and hang out on their island and didn’t want the trilogy to end. Recommend buying the trilogy pack as it would have saved me a couple of pounds. Enjoy! ### 5/5 — Reminds me of a classic LucasArts adventure. Entgegen de angegebenen Sprachen im App-Store „Englisch und Deutsch“, werden mir im dritten Teil jedoch lediglich englische Untertitel angeboten. Leider muss ich zugeben, dass ich dadurch nur die Hälfte verstehe. So kann ich das Spiel nich mit Spaß am Spiel spielen... Hätte ich das vorher gewusst hätte ich mir den dritten Teil auch nicht gekauft... Ich fand es etwas konfus und nicht besonders schwierig oder spannend. Natürlich nervt es manchmal wenn Adventure zu schwer sind und man nicht weiter weiß. Aber das gehört auch irgendwie dazu. Hier war nicht ein kniffliges Rätsel, wodurch ich das Spiel auch in sehr kurzer Zeit durch hatte. Schade. Die Grafik ist schön, der Sound gut und auch die Story macht einigermaßen Spaß. I have been a point and click geek for over 30 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this. Everything from the characters, graphics and music has been top notch.
