I love this book my 3 children own there own copies, thank you to the author and publisher for making this available. God watch over our country our schools and our children whom are our future. In read it to myself mode, it starts randomly talking, making the cursor move and highlighting type. I want to read the story to my child, and this random stuff is disruptive. Even though they are older now, I still appreciate how it helped me explain school to the boys and how I would always be there for them. It has been extremely helpful during stressful events to have this book and it's idea to fall back on. The app just makes it that much easier to access when we need it. Since I have had nothing like this happen I wanted to mention this. There is the option to see additional app books at story end to view other books, but whatever! Maybe this person downloaded a free promotional version at some point? FYI I do not have any ties with Oceanhouse Media. Just don't like false data being disseminated. ### 5/5 — Lovely Book - Perfect for Mother's Day *2014-05-09* The Kissing Hand is one of the most lovely tributes to the relationship between a mother and child. In the book, Chester the raccoon is ready to go off to school but is hesitant...he does not want to leave his mother or his comfy daily routine. His mom gives him a gift - a kiss on the hand, that is registered not only on his hand, but is also tucked away in his heart. He gives his mother a kiss also to bring up and savor when she misses him. It is that kiss where all parents can relate and feel many many years after that make this book so special. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — A book to share *2013-02-08* I purchased this book for my daughter when she was an infant. I could not wait it read to her. When she was able to understand the book, she loved it as much as me. She is now eight and we still will do kissing hands from time to time. I now have two Grandchildren and want to get each of them there own copy.
