I put them in one place and then realized they needed to go in a different place. And it feels like it tripled my time that it should have taken. Also, I spent a lot of time googling where to find things or how to properly do them which was more time spent completing the task. ### 3/5 — App not reliable *2026-08-05, version 4.78.0* App pages do not work correctly. ### 2/5 — Do Not Recommend *2026-07-19, version 4.77.0* The Knot was great during the initial planning stages, but I ended up having several issues with my RSVPs, Registry, and the app itself right before my wedding date. When I tried to get help, I got stuck in a loop with their chat bot. I wish I had gone with a different platform. ### 3/5 — Needs an update? *2026-07-14, version 4.77.0* When I’m looking at venues and press to go to the next page it continues reloads back to the top of the first page. Maybe it needs an update but the glitch is really unfortunate! ### 2/5 — Can’t send digital save the dates or invitations *2026-07-10, version 4.76.1* Good website but you can’t send custom messages or digital invites to guests if you wanted to which I think is crazy ### 3/5 — Can be better *2026-07-02, version 4.76.0* The app took away the custom messages and emails feature which was the main reason I picked the app. Good for counting purposes but be aware when downloading guest lists, I downloaded mine and it took off 50 people who RSVP’d yes thank God I double checked everything before giving it to my venue. It also sometimes glitches and can take a while to load. Nice app to help keep track of things but would not recommend if you are trying to communicate with guests and having a large wedding like mine (170 people). ### 3/5 — Like it but needs improvement *2026-06-30, version 4.76.0* App and website are both very glitchy. It led to my package going missing. However, the functionality and accessibility of this site are not user friendly. For how long The Knot has been around, I would have thought they would have a better system. ### 1/5 — Don’t Use *2026-06-12, version 4.74.1* First of all, the app had issues multiple times throughout our engagement (wouldn’t show chat history or messages, etc). Sometimes this would last a couple of days. Second of all, they would ONLY show the same vendors over and over and over again. I went to an alterations person off of their “high award winning recommendation” and was body shamed and called fat by the owner. I wrote the review on the app, and they refused to publish it because I didn’t have the shaming in writing (but in reality it was because they had given her multiple awards and receive payment). Seriously, save yourself the headache. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Website makes no sense *2026-08-23, version 4.79.1* We spent a lot of time adding people’s guests for our wedding. When people scan the QR code from our invitations, no one can see the guests we added for the invitees, so everyone is adding in their own guests and messing up the count or they are getting error messages saying to try again later. Dry disappointed in what we thought had to be a good way of doing this. Turns out, it would have better to use devote or just text our invites. Anything would be better than this has been. We have to go in every time someone RSVP’s and make the corrections. A big problem is the guest does not see their guest we added for them, but they see a big bottom that says add a guest????? Terrible way of doing g this, pick any other method than the knot!!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Misogyny *2026-08-22, version 4.79.1* Welcome to 1955 ladies! This app is just for you, as there is no feature to let your fiance join the planning. You will be the project manager and sole employee. Your fiance won’t even be able to see what’s happening unless they log into your account. This is not a small glitch, the entire app is built on the premise that the woman would do all of the wedding planning. It takes so many hours of labor to throw an event like this 😫😫😫 But sure, after you make him a sandwich, go ahead and squeeze in the 400-600 hours needed to plan a wedding. You don’t have a career, so that should be a real joy for you ### 1/5 — Awful website *2026-08-09, version 4.78.0* The functionality on this website sucks! It puts in untrue unrelated and unpublished information no videos and no help. Worst ever sorry I got it ### 1/5 — wedding website is broken. *2026-08-06, version 4.78.0* There is so much wrong going on with the wedding website portion. Says set up RSVPS when it’s already set up , erased my photos when i try to edit a post, won’t let me view my guest count at all the screen just flickers endlessly. I’m worried my guest count will get messed up somehow and get erased and i’ll lose all the progress. ### 1/5 — You get what you (don’t) pay for *2026-08-06, version 4.78.0* The entire experience was ten times more difficult than necessary. From creating the website, adding guest list, ordering invitations and collecting rsvps. Brutal experience! I’m having to individually text people if they’re coming because they are telling me they submitted their response but I can’t see them on my end. And they say you can upload excel lists but what they mean is individually copy and paste each line manually from a spreadsheet. Planning a wedding extremely time, sensitive, and communication with vendors is critical. Unfortunately, when something goes wrong with your account to support and follow up for incredibly disappointing. Our account was suddenly locked without a clear explanation, leaving us, unable to communicate with our vendor or continue planning. Instead of receiving prompt assistance we were simply told that tech services will look into it, but no one could tell us when the issue actually be resolved . There is no sense of urgency, no update and no proactive communication. as a couple trying to plan a wedding on a strict timeline, this has been incredibly stressful. We shouldn’t have to chase down customer support, repeatedly asked for updates, or do all the work ourselves just to get the basic assistance. A company that serves engaged couples should understand how important timing communication are. At the very least they provide timely. Follow up with Email to keep customers informed throughout the process. I have reached out to customer service on my own account and have only told that tech services will fix it and that’s it. ### 1/5 — Nice app but.. *2026-07-11* Unfortunately does not work within Canada ### 1/5 — App Crashes *2026-06-25* You can barely do anything on the app because it crashes consistently.
