## What is The Koren Tefilla App?

The Koren Tefilla App includes our siddur in three nusaḥim: Sefaradim (Edot Mizraḥ), Sefarad and Ashkenaz. 

The siddur was designed in accordance with the design elements which were created by Eliyahu Koren and which have been passed down at Koren Publishers over the last 60 years. We have done our best to maintain these guidelines while making the necessary changes considering the platform.

The siddur is of course a smart siddur and therefore displays the appropriate tefillot based on the annual cycle. In addition, one may apply different tefilla modes such as davening with a minyan, ḥazzan mode, simḥa and aveilut as well as geographic location.

Beyond this we have also added various content geared towards aiding one in preparation for Tefilla, learning about and reflecting on Tefilla as well as creating a davening experience which is not possible using a printed book. Among these tools you will find audio preparations for Tefilla from different creators, commentary by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks and a feature allowing one to display the Tefilla word by word or sentence by sentence which enhances one’s focus. 

There are other settings and features not mentioned here and we encourage you to go ahead and explore these.

Excellent functionality and excellent layout. The app allowed me to delete two separate apps (zemanim and siddur) as it has two in one. Thank you for being inclusive of all nus’haot. Also, thank you for publishing excellent editions of Talmud and Tanakh.

Suggestion, please consider enabling alerts for different zemanim (tset ha’kokhavim, bein ha’shemashot, etc) like for keriat shema with customization.

Every time I try to load the app, it tells me I need to do a download, but whenever I try to do it, the app crashes.

This app is great if it loads properly, however it almost never does. It takes forever to load, and if you want to switch nusach you’ve gotta make sure you do it well before. If it loaded it would be a fantastic app, but it just ends up being impractical to actually daven from
