### 2/5 — So much missed potential

*2022-06-26, version 1.1*

I bought this thinking it would be a true port to mobile devices. Swiping left and right to turn, holding your finger on something to pick it up and other touch interface features. But instead it's the same exact game with the interface that was designed to be used with a mouse. So this was a lazy low effort port. In the very least they could have given you the option to switch between a revamped interface and the traditional one. The price of $4 is way too steep when it's one dollar on GOG and other services. They also want you to buy the game a second time for an "iPad version". This isn't necessary since iPad will run the iPhone version just fine. That just shows you how long it's been since they've added any features to this game since it's been many years since you needed to buy a separate version for iPad devices. So buy this only if you don't mind using the ancient interface but honestly this could have been so much better.

### 4/5 — Old PC classic

*2017-02-18*

I have now finally finished this game I started years ago on PC. It's a bit clunky, mainly due to age, but it's a good puzzler, and still a bit different to most adventure games.

Tips:
- Don't spend all your coins until you find the telephone.
- Don't unscrew the door until you have a light source.

### 5/5 — My favorite!

This is my favorite adventure game besides Journeyman Project! Thank you so much! Don't pass this one up!

### 5/5 — absolutely amazing

*2012-06-27*

what an amazing port of a classic Mac adventure game. this is computer gaming history an amazingly in depth game that is beautiful looking as it is creepy!! don't hesitate!!

### 5/5 — Nostalgia for an old classic

*2012-02-03*

I purchased this game the moment I saw it. A puzzle game of the same style (and era) as Myst, it never saw Myst's success and popularity; perhaps rightly so. Still, the game is a classic in its own right, and I'd recommend to any puzzle game fan. If you played it years ago... don't hesitate. The locales, the sounds (that clown!), the haunting soundtrack... it all evoked many memories. The game itself runs very smoothly on iPhone 4, identical to the original. This is a perfect port of a classic.

### 3/5 — Dated adventure

*2011-03-20*

Successful port of the 1993 adventure game for Amiga, making strong use of pre-rendered 3D. Music, graphics and interface are perfectly preserved from the original versions. Uses primitive time-travel mechanic for some of its puzzles, but relies too heavily on uninteresting mazes- the few puzzles that exist often have unintuitive or silly solutions. Ridiculous number of useless inventory items and red herrings. Story makes good attempt to tie together large number of time-zones, ranging from old west to space colonies, but visual style often feels random and inconsistent. Music varies sharply in quality and usually clashes with visuals. A nice way to replay the old game for veterans but unlikely to be much fun for those picking it up for the first time.

### 4/5 — Nostalgic

Played this game when I was a child, runs perfectly on iphone
