Discover people through places.

Lamppost is a local network built around the places we share.

Cafés, bookshops, bars, galleries, cinemas, music venues and community spaces all bring people together. Lamppost makes those shared places the starting point for new connections.

Explore Lampposts on the map, add places you think belong, and help build a network shaped by the people and places that make a community interesting.

When you visit a participating place, scan its Lamppost code to become part of its community and discover people with something in common already.

Whether that leads to friendship, romance, creative collaboration, or simply a conversation, is up to you.

Lamppost doesn't follow you around.

You decide what you share and who can see it. Your precise location is never shown to other users, and Lamppost doesn't use background location tracking to build a picture of where you go.

Because meaningful connections should begin with something you have in common, not with being tracked.
