OK on mobile. *2023-05-28, version 2.0.1* This is an amazing and moody game with lots of good moments of creeping dread and horror. I would say that the experience is better on computer. Tablet works OK too because of the bigger screen, but there are things that the game doesn‘t tell you that you should know especially if you‘re playing on a phone. 1. You can drag the magnifying glass over icons in your inventory to inspect them closer. This is essential sometimes to get more context 2. You can drag your finger over the screen to see what icons appear to highlight have you can interact with in a scene. (This is useful since a phone is a bit small for some of the small items - and also sometimes i found the spot you are meant to click is a bit misaligned. If advertising is done, the popularity of the game will gradually increase and it will surely explode at some point! The graphics are very pixelated, intentionally so as it’s the theme of the game… however frequently items you can interact with are so low-res that you have no idea what you’re tapping on sometimes. It didn’t quite ever build the kind of tension or sense of mystery I wanted from a game with a supernatural horror theme, but I played through the entire game and the story was pretty engaging. I liked the old school graphics! A few quibbles: first. the sensitivity of the hot spots for tapping on my iPhoneX was poor— many of the hotspots were well above the objects they were mapped to. Second, this game does have a scene that can’t be solved without sound, making this game inaccessible for Deaf/hoh players and confusing for anyone who plays with sound off, since it’s the only scene in the game of this type. ### 5/5 — AMAZING *2020-11-07, version 2.0.1* It’s worth every single penny. For instance, I have trouble interacting with the environment; just to pick up a key is not as responsive as it should be. Also, it’s difficult to know what objects in the game can you interact with. It’s a lot easier on the PC but on mobile, the cursor is very limited. You should consider adding the Icon Revealer feature like on the Nintendo Switch to make it an easier user experience. Kindly do the same for The Last Door Season 2. It starts with you gathering a rope and chair and fixing everything for a suicide. Then you take your character, put him on the chair, and watch him dangle until his arms fall to his sides. I don’t care what quality the image is or if it is just some pixel character, this is not acceptable anytime or anywhere. This is not what I expected and even just watching would have been better than actively being a part in it. It transitions to a black screen with no sound or music and stays there. Why did so buy this? For chapter 2 and on. So immediately after purchase I'm hit with that bug. Forums show this issue has plagued iOS versions of this game on different chapters / scenes at different times. The point and click is not very accurate, but still manageable. The genre won’t keep you awake, with very few distasteful scenes. The plot keeps you wanting to know more, but the end is missing the hook to capture the player’s curiosity to continue with the second part. It is different, it has creativity, a decent length and price. I will see how it ends. ### 5/5 — Still one of The best Adventures out there! *2025-10-13* Oh my god what a wonderful, wonderful Masterpiece! I play Adventures since the late 80s and yes I nearly played them all since today, also most of the indie games. And The Last Door is truly a pure gem - the writing, the ambience, the dialogue, the whole story and lore, the extreme good puzzle, the music (oh my God the music!) - it is all a 10 out of 10! If you have and pleasure in good haunting of occult stories and the slightest please in some kind of Adventures - Play it!
