I have reset the pump, deleted and reinstalled the app and created a new account but still will not connect. If you look at the spa groups on FB, you will see that this is a common problem so come on Lay-Z-Spa - you have a huge customer base who deserve better than this! ### 2/5 — WiFi stopped then scheduling *2024-08-19* For ages the WiFi just stopped working and everything I tried would not work. Then suddenly there must have been an update to the app because I managed to connect again. But now suddenly the scheduling has stopped working so I have to set a simple manual time for tub to come on and off in order to heat in cheap overnight rate. In the scheme of things not a great problem but very very annoying as the app is just so flaky - as a developer myself I would just be so embarrassed by these problems but expect they are not given the time to fix things ☹️ ### 1/5 — Lay-Z-Spa… more like Lay-Z-App *2024-08-16* This app is not functional on any level. Very very sketchy to even get it connected, scheduling impossible as it all of a sudden “can’t connect to your spa”. Very disappointed as actually purchased this spa due to this functionality. I am expecting a reply and for the app to be improved considerably so it’s at least functional and is not just unable to connect. Look forward to hearing from Wilton Bradley???? ### 1/5 — The worst app *2024-08-11* It just doesn’t work! Was a nightmare to get the tub connected to wi-fi in the first place, just didn’t want to know, eventually the next morning doing exactly the same procedure it connected. The scheduling is so unreliable, sometimes it works and sometimes not. Sometimes it starts and then turns heat and pump off early. Why does it turn the filter off after completing schedule?! This is how you know it’s attempted the schedule as you wake up and the pump is off, with no heat added! It’s honestly the worst app I’ve come across, how hard can it be to develop an app that turns something on and off at a specific time! Very it would appear. ### 1/5 — Buggy and unusable *2024-08-08* WiFi connectivity was a high on the list of reasons for choosing the Hot tub that I did. Well, turns out I shouldn’t have bothered. The app is extremely buggy. On the rare occasion I can actually log in, turning the pump off turns off the heat and keeps the pump running and changing the temperature display from C to F seems to break that function all together. If you want reliable WiFi functionality with you’re hot tub, don’t bother with this app. Seems the Bestway app is a far better option to control my hot tub ### 1/5 — Does not work on iOS because! *2024-07-23* This version on the iOS app asks for permission to use your devices location and Bluetooth but never asks to use the devices “local network” (Wi-Fi) when installed for the first time. Which means it cannot access the internet to register an account, reset a password or to log-in 🤣. You guys should fix this 👍🏻. Your welcome. ### 4/5 — I'm a lucky one *2024-07-03* I must be one of the lucky ones and it works, took a couple of attempts no idea why, does exactly what I need times turning it on and off etc. What I have notice is I can't use my vpn with it, it just hangs while communicating with the spa but no big problem turning that off to make adjustments. Should be a straight forward connection. ### 1/5 — Please fix the app *2024-04-21* If I could give it zero I would when your team updated the app it will not longer connect to the WiFi in my pump. I tried the bestways app same thing both app are rubbish. Of yo are spending £700 or £800 or under you would want a working app I might switch to a hotub brand with a better app 😡😡😡😡 please FIX IT I love my hotub so much but the app lets it down disappointed 😡😡😡 ### 1/5 — Download the Bestway App *2024-04-11* Once again the UK needs to be different! This app doesn’t work, won’t connect a brand new tub. Try the actual manufacturer App (Bestway) and you will get an instant connection with no stress! I have used this app for two years and has been temperamental, until it stopped 2 mo the ago. It transpired, it’s not my WiFi it’s the App. Even a new spa didn’t work. Just use the Bestway App! ### 5/5 — Perfect supporting app *2023-12-17* Works great, not sure about all the negative reviews.
