### 3/5 — Good and Bad

*2026-08-21, version 3.0.8*

Love the dating selection, but the app keeps showing me people who live in different states and don’t match my age and height preferences that I have set. It sucks when you only get to vote on 3 people every day and they don’t even live anywhere near me

### 2/5 — It’s not happening

*2026-08-17, version 3.0.8*

It’s not happening… people in general have become blasé and your formula does not really work. Sorry

### 2/5 — Good site but you have to pay

*2026-08-14, version 3.0.8*

The girls on here are very nice, but be aware that the app only allows you to see three different people per day. Unless if you pay more if you wanna match with more people and most people on here are not very responsive.

### 1/5 — What a scam

*2026-08-13, version 3.0.8*

Don’t waste your time and money on this app. Thought I would try it as a second app to raya and what a disappointment. No one is on the app and I’m in Los Angeles. Hardly any matches or conversations. I do very well on Raya and hinge

### 1/5 — App is garbage

*2026-08-12, version 3.0.7*

Spent the $399 or whatever it was. I received 4 likes and can’t see them. I’ve sent multiple emails to support and nothing back. Wish I could get a refund!

### 1/5 — The nickel and dime app

*2026-08-11, version 3.0.7*

1 billion different subscription tiers
50 different in app currencies
Time-gated everything

It’s just tinder, but worse, with a hyper premium price tag.

No additional value, only conversion through confusion and regrets.

There’s no way this shill job lasts.

### 1/5 — Waste of time app

*2026-08-11*

I installed the and the app home is stuck on The League reviews applications to maintain a high-quality, highly-engaged community. And after 1 week it still showing the same thing.
What a garbage app.

### 3/5 — the photo won't load

*2026-08-11, version 3.0.7*

Hello, dear developers, I can’t upload photos to the app, they don’t load, the photos are small, what should I do?

### 1/5 — over a year on waitlist

*2026-08-11, version 3.0.7*

Waited a full 400 days on the waitlist. They never review free profiles. It is a predatory shadowban mechanic designed to extort hundreds of dollars to bypass a fake queue. Do not download.

### 2/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2026-08-10, version 3.0.7*

I like the general idea of this app. An app where serious minded people (financially and career wise) can find other like minded individuals. Only problem in that statement is the word “find” because you’ll never be doing any of that. I’ve used many apps prior and never had the issue of not getting a match, let alone a like. I’m unsure if it’s because this app only gives you 5 swipes a day or what. After waiting on the list and using the app a few months, I strongly suggest you skip the line and don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Ripping people off with a full of bugs app

*2026-08-09, version 3.0.7*

I’ve downloaded this thing 5 days ago and completed the profile with everything they require. No matter how much I completed the app says there is only 54% completed.
There is literally nothing else I can fill out. So here I am, 5 days later still not approved and the app keeps trying to make pay $99/mo to skip the approval process.
Don’t waste your time, which in our case it is very valuable.

### 1/5 — Application Wait

*2026-08-09, version 3.0.7*

I would love to talk on my experience, but unfortunately, I’ve been on the waitlist for 3 months. I’m very disappointed as my friend, who I referred, submitted her application this morning and received approval within hours. She is a skinny White woman and I’m a mid-sized mixed woman. I’m started to feel that this has something to do with it…

### 2/5 — Not good for women

*2026-08-08, version 3.0.7*

You get 5 options to choose from a day unless you pay lol and you don’t get to choose an age group so they’re gonna give you men way too old and that’s about it.

### 1/5 — Massively overpriced

*2026-08-07, version 3.0.7*

£60 for a week or £200 for 3 months basic access, climbing to £1000 a week and £5000 for 3 months.

Absolutely outrageous pricing, you can’t see your likes unless you pay, you get 5 profiles to choose from every 10+hrs.

But they’re just sharing random profiles, nothing based on your wants or type as they don’t even ask you that.

### 1/5 — Poorly built cash grab

*2026-08-06, version 3.0.7*

Two main issues with this app- it’s poorly built and it’s a cash grab.

Poorly built- The app will give you notifications when there’s nothing new while simultaneously not giving notifications when someone sends you a message (heard this from multiple people on the app when I’d apologize for not seeing their message). Timers for your conversation don’t work either, it kept telling me I had 5 or 14 days to chat with the same person whenever I logged it.

Cash grab- They show you blurred profiles with names of people who like you, but after a month none of those names have shown up in my suggested matches and to access them directly they try to make you pay $60 for a week or $100 for a month. Similar with the “see more profiles” which shows people id definitely been interested in yet never appear in my options unless I pay for it.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-08-06, version 3.0.7*

Filled in all the detail as required but never allowed me to create a profile

### 2/5 — Waitlist

*2026-08-06, version 3.0.7*

I don’t understand why there is a delay with getting the profiles verified. Last time I attempted to set up an account a month had passed and I was still on the wait list. This go round I’m hopeful they’ll verify everything in a timely manner but we’ll see. In the meantime they get. 2/5.

### 1/5 — Money grab, zero stars

*2026-08-05, version 3.0.7*

What a joke. They brag about their “application” process and how it’s highly selective. Any idiot can create a linked in profile and have it say what they want. There’s a “wait list,” and yet unsurprisingly it took an hour for my application to be approved. It’s “curated,” and yet every single batch of profiles I’ve been shown have things outside of my selected preferences. My preferences were people over age 38 who live within 10 miles of downtown with an education level above undergrad, and I was shown a 34 year old farmer out in the sticks. If you’re only gonna let me look at 3-5 profiles a day, at least make them aligned with my preferences. Unlike Bumble where you really only pay to view “likes” and “boost” your profile, this app prompts you to pay for everything, including just looking at profiles outside of your daily batch and even paying to see if your chat message has been “read” by the other person. You pay to restrict your preferences by age to tighter than 10 years. You pay to edit your job description. You pay to hide your marriage preference. Every time I click something there’s a new box popping up to ask if I want to pay.
This app is going in the “delete” pile.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not a fan. Tried many times.

*2026-08-24, version 3.0.8*

Nothing solid comes from this app. Can never see old convos without having to match with deleted people. Idea is great, but practicality and logistics of the app suck. Other apps are much

### 1/5 — Do not buy credits or services. Misleading in several ways

*2026-08-23, version 3.0.8*

I’ve had a paid subscription. This is a terrible dating app. Customer service is horrendous. The latest is I bought credits to use to communicate. The credits were much more expensive than what’s listed. Even with taxes it’s much more by 30% than what the screen shows you’re going to pay. And the very profile where I decided to buy credits, then shows that I cannot use my credits to communicate. This is misleading and likely important information to provide before I paid. Bait and switch. Terrible way to cheat customers.

### 1/5 — Money Grab and Full of Bots

*2026-08-21, version 3.0.8*

I downloaded this and thought like they advertised that it was indeed a curated persons app but everyone can get in and most of my matches are bots who don’t respond. This is probably done in an effort to get you to pay for there subscriptions. The app is garbage.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-08-21, version 3.0.8*

When you sign up / it still doesn’t allow you to see who likes you unless of course you upgrade to more expensive version - i prefer other dating apps

### 1/5 — Based on profit not consumer satisfaction.

*2026-08-20, version 3.0.8*

Everything is money, money, money. It’s like £1000 a month for the premium service. Download it for free and enjoy being shackled, pay to boost and you’ll get temporary access to a few moments of hope. This is just a more expensive way to blackmail good men who want love to part with their cash. Shameful.

### 1/5 — An app the nickel and dimes you

*2026-08-20, version 3.0.8*

Bad matches, same people as other apps, you get 4 swipes a day only unless you want to unload your bank account. Don’t waste your time. Dane people as bumble.

### 1/5 — Not worth any money

*2026-08-19, version 3.0.8*

I’ve had the app for maybe 2 months, went through nearly all of my daily matches and haven’t gotten a single match or a single like. Use the basic hinge unpaid service I’ve gotten roughly 50 matches in the same amount of time and this one I’m paying for monthly! One of the worst dating apps I’ve been on.

### 1/5 — Garbage UI and Price

*2026-08-18, version 3.0.8*

The prices range from $45/week to $3,000. Extremely unrealistic and no quality whatsoever of any kind (e.g., people, UI, costumer service, etc.) Just a scam for gullible people. Do NOT be one…

### 1/5 — Nearly $100 a Month for a Very Limited Experience

*2026-08-16, version 3.0.8*

I really wanted to give The League a fair chance, which is why I was willing to pay nearly $100 for a one-month subscription. Unfortunately, even in the short time I’ve been using the paid version, I’m extremely disappointed and genuinely confused about what I’m paying for.

For that price, I expected significantly more access and a dating experience tailored to the preferences I selected. Instead, I’m given a small batch of approximately 4–6 profiles at a time, and many of those profiles don’t even meet the preferences I’ve set. I’ve been shown people outside of my preferred age range and people whose relationship goals don’t align with what I’m looking for. Some aren’t looking for marriage or intentional dating at all.

After going through a batch, I’m then expected to wait hours—sometimes until the next day—for another small batch. So I’m paying nearly $100 a month, yet I can’t freely browse a larger pool of potential matches, and when the app finally does provide another batch, I’m still being shown people who don’t meet my basic preferences.

What makes this even more frustrating is how limited the preference settings are at this subscription level. So far, I’m primarily able to control things like age and distance. For an app that markets itself as a more selective dating experience, I expected much more detailed compatibility filtering—especially for paying members.

I don’t expect an app to magically find my perfect partner, and I understand that no dating app can guarantee that every profile will be compatible. But if I’m paying this much for a subscription, I do expect the app to consistently honor the preferences it allows me to select and give me substantially more access than this.

At this point, I genuinely don’t understand the value of the subscription. I’m paying a premium price while still being heavily restricted in who I can see, how many profiles I can view, how frequently I can view them, and which preferences I can use.

I don’t regret trying it because I wanted to give the app a fair chance for myself. But based on my experience so far, I am not satisfied with what I’m receiving for the price.

I hope The League eventually reconsiders its subscription model. Paying members should have much broader access to the dating pool and better filtering, while optional paid features could focus on things like profile boosts, increased visibility, or other enhancements. Charging a premium subscription price while continuing to heavily restrict the basic dating experience simply doesn’t feel worth it.

### 1/5 — Poor quality of candidates just rebranded hinge

*2026-08-13, version 3.0.8*

This is marketed as a higher caliber pool but it is the same people on Hinge etc but just repackaged with higher pricing. Skip it

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Terrible

*2026-08-21, version 3.0.8*

The worst dating app I've ever tried—SUPER expensive, the prices are absurd, and the cheapest option is extremely limited. I wasted my money.

### 5/5 — Like it!

*2026-08-11, version 3.0.7*

Good dating app!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-07-28, version 3.0.7*

It’s a great app and easy but please lower the fees

### 5/5 — Good features

*2026-07-17, version 3.0.7*

Helps cut to chase and limited endless swipes

### 5/5 — Quality few, competitive

*2026-07-14, version 3.0.6*

This is a neat approach to dating. There are few in each cohort but they are more competitive than others on other apps.

This is a neat approach in that there are
few/limited opportunities to match that those who are not competitive self-select out. It is a great approach to matching, it is deliberately slow, and helps to create better opportunities.

This is a good service for those that are decently attractive and would like fewer, higher quality matches. The same rules apply, have engaging conversations, be interesting, and ideally you’ll find more appeal.

### 5/5 — Different then the rest

*2026-06-21, version 3.0.4*

It’s not free, and it’s for a reason. Serious people looking for real connections. No bots no bs.

### 5/5 — my favorite dating site

*2026-06-17, version 3.0.3*

I have tried a few dating sites and they are hit or miss and it is not possible to know if the people you meet are authentic, on the league I don’t worry about that . also I find the quality of men , fit my needs and are much more interesting. my only complaint is it is hard to get a hold of customer service. I don’t always hear back from them. they seem to be elusive. this is very frustrating. hopefully this will improve

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-06-16, version 3.0.3*

Very good :-)

### 5/5 — Just for fun

*2026-05-30, version 3.0.2*

Exclusive

### 5/5 — Exceptionally Good

*2026-05-24, version 3.0.2*

After the league I don’t expect to ever use any other dating app. (Hopefully because of who I met here won’t need to). Full of high caliber people who otherwise would’ve been suppressed by the other apps
