WHY THE LEDGER  
No spreadsheets. No mental math at the airport. Just a clean paper-style ledger that everyone in
the group can read.                                                                                
   
HOW SETTLEMENT WORKS                                                                               
The Ledger never holds, transfers, or facilitates money. The app records an IOU between you and a
friend, calculates who owes what at the end of a trip, and opens your existing Venmo app to send   
payment. Money moves through Venmo, not The Ledger.
