The Letter Journey

Nikud for Kids is an educational app that teaches children ages 3–6 the Hebrew letters and the vowel marks (nikud) — in a calm, clear, and playful way. Three activities: The Letters - each letter on its own, on a clean black background. You drag a vowel mark onto the letter, and it gains "power" — a sound, a color, and motion. This way the child learns that the nikud is what gives the letter its voice. Open the Door - a little game: a creature hides behind the door, and the password to open it is the correct syllable. The child listens, assembles the nikud, and opens it. Reading exercises - real words with an illustration and full nikud. Pressing the button reads the word syllable by syllable, with each syllable lighting up as it is heard.
