### 1/5 — Super sketchy

*2020-12-28, version 1.6.1*

This whole app and its chat room feature are super sketchy and don't even look appealing. I wanted someone to talk to anonymously and I got put in a chat room worse than Omegle.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2020-11-21, version 1.6.1*

I am amazed at how comprehensive and helpful this app is. There is tons of great information all over the app and an amazing amount of resourses.

### 1/5 — This app made things worst

*2018-08-30, version 1.5*

I tried to reach out for help today. I tried every single number listed and I tried a number of the chats. No one is available or there isn’t help available in my area. This just made it worst I feel worst than I did before I tried to reach out for help. If you are looking for support, you will not get it here. You are better off going to the doctor or hospital.

### 2/5 — Extremely disappointed in Canada’s resources.

*2018-02-22, version 1.5*

I’m from Canada and today I tried to reach out to help myself. I don’t consider myself crisis level where I need to contact emergency services. I just wanted someone to guide me towards helping myself. But I have to wait until 4 pm.
That’s absolutely garbage. The sites that say they’re 24/7 aren’t. They run weird hours like 6pm to 2 am. They expect you to wait until their open hours. As if that’s a conversation you can put off and have later.
Thank god I’m not crisis level because surely no one cares.

### 1/5 — Too Simple

*2016-01-03, version 1.2*

As someone who has lived with suicidal ideation all of my life the approaches in this app are way over simplified. First of medical doctors are not equipped to deal with it, not their fault, it isn't in their training. It wasn't until I stopped going to doctors about my suicidality that I actually got sufficient help to alleviate my suffering. Meds and CBT didn't.
Secondly if you are suicidal problem solving isn't really a viable option, you aren't thinking clearly enough to come up with viable options, that is why you are thinking suicide because you can't see the other options.
There are real strategies that can help people who are suicidal and I was hopeful for this app but it isn't it.

### 3/5 — It helps

*2014-11-04*

This app helped with me to not commit suicide and cut

### 5/5 — It's helpful

*2014-08-25*

Thanks

### 3/5 — Needs more

*2014-07-07*

I want someone to talk to but I don't want to tell anyone I know. I checked out multiple apps and all they have is calling. I have trouble communicating through words and need a way to text to get help. Please add this. It would help me a lot.
