### 5/5 — The Lift- The perfect entry point

I have played the lift many times, and it never gets old. The lift is the perfect introduction into the style and atmosphere of Hotel Orpheus. I really am floored by how well the design and mechanics of Hotel Orpheus is. Right from the beginning, when you go through the door and are greeted by the spectral concierge, you know that you have entered a haunted atmospheric domain. The titular hotel contains many levels, with different time zones in each. The lift is a short game that is the prelude to Room 1309. As you after the elevator, it starts to ascend normally, till it ominously speeds up, and then crashes. The cleaning maid turns demonic and jumpscares you, and then you experience a blackout. As you regain consciousness, it is your task to escape from the stuck elevator. The cleaning maids cart contains all the clues and items I needed to escape. The cart was well thought out and detailed, with just one elevator giving a fully engaging and hair raising experience of putting the pieces together to exit the lift. And once you do, it naturally segue-ways to Room 1309. The perfect entry game for all lovers of high- quality mystery horror games!

Within the first minute there are scary zombie type characters and feet hanging from the ceiling with scary sirens and flashing red lights . It is as if someone has been hung. Not suitable for many 12 year olds. Nice premise but some children would be upset by this.

**Developer response:** You're right, this is not game for children. It's rated 14+ in 173 countries. I'm pretty sure that's clearly defined on the App Store page.

This game freezes every time I try to press the emergency call button after attaching the internal wires. An email to customer support resulted in a automated response, telling me to enjoy the game. I’d love to continue playing, if this glitch would be addressed. Frustrating.

Игра интересная, необычные головоломки и классная графика, но встретился конкретный баг: в лифте, когда соединяешь провода в отсеке (FOAM) и нажимаешь кнопку, игра просто зависает - ничего не нажимается и приходится перезапускать. После перезапуска приходится снова пройти эту головоломку и снова после нажатия на кнопку зависает. Исправьте косяки и я изменю оценку.

Im Spiel gibt es viele Rätsel und keine Werbung nur wenn man Tipps freischalten möchte die Rätsel sind ohne Tipps auch machbar leider kostet der andere Teil Geld aber nur irgendwas mit 1€ trotzdem ist der Teil auch gut und wenn man sich den anderen nicht leisten kann kann ich euch dieses Spiel empfehlen
