Now you have to sign up and that process just spins and never finishes successfully. A real shame ### 1/5 — Can’t login, sign up *2021-05-23, version 2.3.7* I can’t login, the app keeps saying it’s still in development mode. ### 2/5 — Should be great, If I can ever access it! *2021-04-23* I searched on Google for home bar apps, and The Liquor Cabinet app appeared on almost every article that I read. I was very excited to try it. But apparently I can’t. However, it won’t let me sign up, and gives me an error message every time I’ve tried. I tried email, as well as signing up through Google or FB, and only the last one told me that it’s still in develop mode, so I should contact the developer if I want access. I also went on their website and tried signing up for their mailing list, only to be told that my email is invalid (it’s not.) ### 1/5 — Can’t Use the app! *2021-04-13* I would love to be able to even review the app, however I have tried to install it four times now. It asks me to create a user ID and then just spins and spins and eventually gives an error message. It’s a shame because it sounds good, but I am beginning to think it doesn’t exist and it’s all lies 😂😂 If anyone has been able to actually login and use this app, I’ll take some of your magical powers. ### 1/5 — Not worth the hassle *2021-04-08* I’ve used this in the past and it had fine content. However there are so many walls to get through and often the app crashes and doesn’t let you in. It’s extremely frustrating to have to sign up and then still not be allowed into the app. Don’t waste your time downloading and trying to get access to the content. ### 2/5 — No Support *2021-03-28* In general I have really liked this app and it seems supported with updates. It has a beautiful look and I like the way the information is presented. Unfortunately with the last phone update my app signed me out and now when trying to sign in there is an error message ‘response cannot be serialized’. Developer site is just about the app BUT no contacts and no support! I paid for their premium lists and now I have no access! ### 3/5 — I want to like this app but... *2021-02-27* I really want to like this app and take advantage of ordering spirits from it but it will not let me add my state to my address for ordering. It only allows me to type V for my state and that’s all. More recipes would be nice as well. I can't seem to find where to go to unlock it. The website has been helpless so had been the app. ### 3/5 — Classy, but inaccurate *2018-02-28, version 2.1.6* A good app for all the classic cocktails anyone could wish to reference. Having a diverse liquor cabinet, this was a real help to finding new and interesting cocktails to indulge my worsening alcoholism. However, I notice that a sizeable amount of the recipes are not true to widely accepted versions that one might find in any bar or cocktail enthusiast’s Home. For instance, the recipes for the old fashioned, mint julep and sazerac omit the vital inclusion of sugar. Being a part-time cocktail maker, this intrigued me at first as I had never tried an old fashioned with out sugar, but when I followed the app’s recipe and tried the resultant drink, it was far less superior to one I could make with sugar. If the recipes were altered to correct these inaccuracies, the app would greatly improve, but as it stands, I am somewhat dissatisfied, and slightly cautious to recommend this app to anyone who doesn’t have a basic knowledge of mixology, as if someone was to believe an old fashioned was as bitter as the omission of sugar makes it, they might never attempt to make one again, and that would be a real shame because old fashioneds are great ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Really unfortunate *2025-12-03* It’s an atrocity that this app no longer works. This did two things very well. 1)accurate recipes for classic cocktails 2) realistic picture of what it is supposed to look like (not an illustration). And in that regard, there is nothing else out there that’s comparable. I just really really wish that when I clicked on a particular liquor, like Laird's Applejack, it would tell me all the other drinks in the app that use the same liquor. As it currently is configured, if you wanted to use Laird's, you need to click each individual drink to check the ingredients list until you might find it, since there's no search function either. ### 5/5 — UPDATE: it's fixed! *2016-08-06, version 1.0.4* UPDATE: The app is now working once again! It's simply gorgeous and the recipes seem well curated and researched. Looking forward to working my way through them over the coming year. Forget about all those other cocktail apps. This and Highball are all you need! I am no longer able to login to this app via Facebook or otherwise. Really hoping they fix it soon; it was awesome the one time I was able to log in.
