Seriously, who wants to share this story about a bitter ex plotting revenge with their kids. Go on have a read and tell me if it wasn't a mermaid then you would find this a a disturbing read. Can you say stalker...

Terrible, doesn't work, popup ads all the time and sound doesnt work and screen freezes.  Don't waste your time or money

I bought this to read as a bedtime Story to my son.  What's up with the dagger and thinking about killing the prince?  I understand not paying royalties, but not so nice for. 4 yr old.

they are not taking any advantage of the iPad possibilities. and the story line is really strange... not nearly as beautiful as the original tale, but simply embarrasing.

First, allow me to apologize for those reviewers who wouldn't know a classic piece of literature if they fell over it, probably have no clue who Hans Christian Andersen is, and sadly believe that Disney's sappy adulterated version of this story is the "original." You did a very good job of remaining true to the classic version of this tale, though I'm not sure how "interactive" it is. Expand on the interactive concept, and there should never be ads in a paid app, ever. Address these two issues, and you will have a five star app of which even Andersen would be proud. Thankfully, some of us were fortunate enough to grow up with the original versions of these classics before Disney got a hold of them.

Please ignore the reviews of the ignorant people who thought the Disney version was the original Little Mermaid.
This app is not the Disney version, it’s based on the original book by Hans Christian Andersen called “The Little Mermaid”. The ending is faithful to the real book and I appreciate that this isn’t another one of those apps that sugar-coats the book like Disney did, and actually teaches the real and classic story. 
Beautiful drawings as well! Highly recommended.
