Also why does this need a phone number? ### 1/5 — Invasive app *2024-05-05* I downloaded the free app because I loved the Lizzie Bennet diaries and remember watching the series unfold on YouTube. I was curious about the new format but upon opening the app, it requests for your phone number. After giving my phone number (to get an access code), it required access to my photos and contacts. You cannot opt out of this. This seems terribly invasive. Why is a code necessary after I downloaded the app unless you want to text/message?
