I have the desktop versions going back to the original and those are amazing if I am at my desktop. I need this for the Ipad though and after buying the 3 packs I see showing Designer, Comic, and people. Only the comic will download, the designer elements and people pack will not and the app now hangs or crashes out. Not so worried about my $3.24 honestly just want it to work with the apps installed as this is my go to software. ### 3/5 — Logo export *2019-02-01* Doesn’t have different exporting format. Only jpeg so cant blow it up to put on anything cause it gets blurry. I find this lots of fun and a great way to kill time like a game would be. Everything you design using this app can be moved to your computer. This app is so much fun while waiting to see the dentist. ### 4/5 — I like it ok *2013-09-28, version 3.2* It does a good job at helping you create a logo, however when you pick an object there is an option box that blocks 1/2 of your view of the object in use. Also crashes when you select the pick the "image in text" option, which is a great feature to have. ### 5/5 — Great App *2013-09-17, version 3.2* I am giving this app a five star rating for two reasons. First, Marc's note in the version 3.2 update. Message had a little humor and it's clear he cares. I just liked it. Second, the app is easy to use, many different options available and while the app may have crashed for some people, it never crashed on me. ### 3/5 — Shouldn't Have Updated.... *2013-09-08, version 3.1* Let me be clear by saying that I LOVE this app and haven't had any issues until recently. Once it was updated, it became just a useless icon on my iPad. Don't let the bug stop you from using Logo Maker as it really is an amazing app. Its definitely a must have for ANY designer however right now, not so much. Currently running 12.4.7 on first generation iPad Air. Before latest update, app. ran with an occasional startup crash. After purchasing the comic package plus the aforementioned update, there is no way that I have been able to figure out how to open this up. Before this FUBAR I enjoyed making logos and openings for family videos. NOW, not so much. ### 1/5 — Help *2018-05-29* No work please help me ### 1/5 — Buyer beware Do not purchase add on packs. Thats why I dont like free apps because the upgrades go haywire. Cant open the app anymore, tried restore, didnt work. The arch wording is only limited to upward position. The tech support to this app is non-existing since the link is bad. The ironic thing is that the company name is laughing bird. It laughs to the bank they take your money, and as an bird it don't stay there to give support. It has never crashed on me and I love the simplicity of the Whole concept. There are a few items I hope are on the list of add ons like being able to add fonts and a better arc tool. Fantastic App, keep up the great work. ### 5/5 — Faithfully Good! *2018-12-22, version 3.7* I’ve been using Laughingbird software for about 10 years or more. I always fall back on my Laughingbird app to bail me out in a pinch. No matter how fancy many of the other Logo designer apps become, none are as comprehensive and user friendly as Laughingbird. Very, very easy to get under way with new projects and nice designs for your clients. Some suggested updates😊 ~ The ARC editor only crowns up. It would be awesome if we could crown down in editing the ARC as well. ~ The ability to add multiple SHAPES, EFFECTS and BANNERS. ~ The ability to DUPLICATE would be nice. When the client wants to see, perhaps the same logo in different colors or slight variations. I could just duplicate the logo, make the changes as many times as desired and show them all at once. Currently, it takes a lot of steps to achieve this. ~ Future updates which include new design pacs. The PC version has many of these things, but getting them on the iPad would be wonderful💫 Oh, one more thing! A Preview mode and an HD mode would be magnificent. I think the images could be a bit sharper than they are. My iPhone projects are not as sharp as my iPad images. LOGO MAKER for IOS is both of these excellent programs wrapped together in a neat package. After using it for a bit, I purchased the add-on "COMIC ELEMENTS" pack ($.99) which gives you most, if not all, of the design elements found in both LOGO DESIGNER and CREATOR. Has been working great and I highly recommend it (and don't hesitate to spend 99 cents for a the add-on "COMIC ELEMENTS" pack.) FOOTNOTE: earlier reviewers complained of the app not working after adding one of the add-on packs. Same thing happened to me after buying the "COMIC ELEMENTS" pack...I simply deleted the app then reinstalled it and that fixed it. This app is great as a stand alone, yet when combined with the Mac or PC version you will be making tons of logos in minutes where ever you are. I made 4 different logos in under 15 minutes. The tech support via email was fast and I was shocked at how well I was taken care of. Buy this app today. The desktop version and app are similar but each have their own differences. I have this app to be the best for making watermarks for my videos and recordings. When there were limited apps to choose from, the Logo Creator was ALWAYS reliable. If you're a long time customer/user like myself, you would have received the many benefits that Laughingbird Software shared throughout the years. I can't wait to try out the Character Creator, I've bn wanting it for a while but in an application for my iPad. It would be awesome to have Kiki and Baldy Bo in either or the apps, as well. New logo apps are appearing in the app store, but do they offer what this app offers their customers? Are their graphics of high quality? And, are their app easy to navigate through like The Logo Creator? I'm staying loyal to the app that started the white character craze and what every other designer and developer have based their own work on - coz that's what it looks like! Also, developer and app support actually replies within an appropriate time. I have asked many questions and have even bn taught a few things along the way. The developer Marc Sylvester personally replies to each email and even sends updates about upcoming products and any freebies he's giving out.
