## What is The Long Retreat?

Earth is burning behind you. Ahead lies a fragile civilian convoy and a route through hostile space.

Take command of the UNS Defiance in The Long Retreat, a narrative survival game where each decision changes the journey. Answer a distress call, ration dwindling supplies, or take a dangerous route to stay ahead of the pursuit. The people aboard your ships will live with your orders.

EVERY ORDER LEAVES A MARK
Make difficult choices in authored encounters with branching storylines, recurring characters and consequences that carry into later chapters. There is no rewind button.

BRING THE CONVOY HOME
Navigate a 24-jump campaign. Compare routes, choose your formation, assign ship support and balance fuel, medicine, morale and pursuit. Different choices lead to different endings.

REMEMBER THE PEOPLE
Follow the convoy through its manifest, Command Journal and Memorial. Review the decisions that shaped each retreat and the names of those who did not reach safety.

PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE
Your retreat saves locally. Return to an unfinished run, adjust reading and display settings, or export a local backup from Settings.

No ads. No in-app purchases. No account required. Play offline.

Contains fictional war, loss and difficult survival decisions.
