The app was made with Claude in a day. It’s super slow and looks awful. The “dev” spams tiktoks and argues in comments. Don’t waste you’re time 😂 **Developer response:** To clarify — The Long Way offers 6 free features including route calculations, vehicle garage, smart search, trip history, fuel cost data, and community routes. All of these are listed in listed on the Pro tab within the app. If you’re having a hard time understanding or it’s confusing to you, please take a look at the “Pro” tab on the “My Drives” page. It explains everything in full detail. Can you share more details on where you are experiencing slowness in the app? We have also received requests to add regular non-enthusiast GPS into the app as the UI feedback has been that good. We are always open to feedback if you can provide some concrete examples. Hope this helps! ### 3/5 — A little too early rn *2026-07-23* You can’t really use the app at all without an subscription. It’s also kind of buggy and says that I used up my 3 route limit without actually generating any routes. Apparently this bug is being fixed but it hasn’t yet. there’s a free trial for the pro version so use that before you try to use it beforehand and get frustrated **Developer response:** Just to clarify — the route limit applies when you calculate a route, not when you export to maps. That said, it’s something we’re looking to adjust in a future update so the limit only counts on export. In the meantime, Pro has a free trial if you want unlimited routing. Appreciate you checking it out! ### 3/5 — Subscription *2026-06-05* Seems really cool just isn’t free friendly since I can only do 3 routes a WEEK. If you want to use this app, it’s painful if u don’t buy the subscription. **Developer response:** Thanks for checking it out. Worth knowing — there’s a free trial for Pro so you can experience unlimited routing before committing 👍 ### 4/5 — Seems cool!! *2026-03-22* I haven’t tried a route yet but it seems super cool, I imported one into google maps and it looked like an awesome drive. My only gripes are that 1) It doesn’t make it clear that you can only look at 3 routes per month for free before refusing to import another until you pay for premium and 2) I was unable to add any cars before 1985. Users should have the option to manually add cars!! **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback & for checking it out!
