## What is The Meal Prep App?

The MealPrep – Weekly Planner is designed to help you simplify your weekly cooking routine, reduce decision fatigue, and keep your kitchen organized—all in one glance. Instead of juggling scattered notes or complex meal‑planning tools, this app gives you a clean, 7‑day grid where you can assign a meal to breakfast, lunch, or dinner for every day of the week. The “Cooked” button lets you mark a meal as done, which moves it to a completed‑meals history and clears the slot for future planning. A dedicated, large‑format shopping list sits at the bottom, so you can jot down groceries as you plan—keeping everything you need in one place.

Uses

Daily meal planning: Quickly fill each slot with a meal name (e.g., “oatmeal,” “chicken wrap,” “lentil soup”).

Progress tracking: The dashboard shows how many meals you’ve completed this week, giving you a sense of accomplishment and helping you stay on track.

Shopping companion: Use the large text area as a live shopping list—add ingredients while you plan, and reset it with the rest of the week when you’re done.

Weekly reset: One “Reset” button clears all planned meals, completed history, and the shopping list, so you can start fresh every Sunday (or any day you choose).

Whether you’re a busy professional, a parent managing family meals, or someone who simply wants to eat more consistently, this app turns meal prep into a lightweight, satisfying habit—no sign‑up, no complexity, just planning and cooking.
