## What is The Meridian Protocol?

A location-based treasure hunt played in the real world.

Specimens are hidden across the field — physical QR codes waiting to be found. Walk the map, scan what you discover, and watch your score climb. But your lead decays as other operatives catch up. First is fastest. First is cleverest.

Proximity signals pulse harder as you close in. Sealed containment units need challenges solved before their Bluetooth locks will open. Trade specimens with rivals, form hives for score multipliers, and hide your best finds from the leaderboard — your true score is yours alone.

When the clock hits zero, the highest-ranked operative takes the prize.
