This makes me not trust the app. ### 3/5 — Needs improving *2026-07-29* Good app, the map is ok, quite slow and buggy. Suddenly the hotel part stopped to work, they do not say nothing in a while about 👎 **Developer response:** Guilherme, If you are experiencing slowness when trying to view rates that is likely due to internet connectivity. Since we do not store price data like other booking sites, the real-time pricing may be impacted if there are broader internet issues. If it is happening often, make sure you are using the latest app and reach out to customer service so we can help you identify the issue. ### 4/5 — 個人的には使えるアプリかと *2026-07-07* 日本国内の旅行のみをお考えの方には物足りなさを感じるかと思いますが、海外のホテルやレストランに関しては非常に素晴らしい情報掲載がなされていると思います。 まだ日本では認知度が低く、価格帯からの難しさもあるのかもしれませんが、登録箇所を増やすのはがんばっていただきたい部分ではあります。 ただバケーションを海外でのんびり、と考えている方には良いアプリではないかと思います。ローカルの方々が口コミで推奨するホテルやレストランがきちんと掲載されていますし、他のアプリでは掲載されていない場所もあるかと思います。 ### 2/5 — No offline mode *2026-06-07, version 12.4* There does not appear to be a way to download any info. So if I have no wifi and no data my lists would show up as empty and I cannot search for anything. Notwithstanding the app developer saying they’ve been required for two years, it only recently didn’t let me use the app without an account. Data collection is distasteful, and data minimization is an important principle. The app developer claims that they don’t do anything with the data. They claim that I have to have an account so that I can save restaurants or something. I don’t need those features, and I don’t need this app. Very distasteful to me. ### 2/5 — Bring back Green! *2025-12-04, version 11.2.1* It’s so disappointing that you can no longer filter on green starred restaurants. Every time i rotate the map, zoom, even slightly, or slide it, even just slightly to recenter, it freezes and goes into a buffering mode. Further sometimes the pinned restaurants, including the one you might be trying to locate just disappear and it can take zooming in or out multiple times for the pin to reappear, keeping in mind it will buffer for a few seconds for each zoom shift. This is infuriating, especially if you are walking, biking or driving as you basically have pull aside and try not to be a nuisance waiting for the map to come back to life. Since the food reviews are mostly on the www already, the only real advantage of downloading the app and creating an account is the mapping. Therefore I’m going to choose 2 stars for now. Hopefully the app improves as it has the potential to efficiently bring people to outstanding food. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Really not worth it *2026-07-29, version 12.5* Tons of restaurants promoted but it doesn’t show you the stars. Why even use the app if it doesn’t display the ratings? ### 1/5 — Requires account creation to browse *2026-06-06, version 12.4* Suddenly requires you to give them your contact info and create an account to just browse - even if you don’t intend to use the features they allege require sign-in. Unless to me now. ### 1/5 — Mein Benutzer wird nicht mehr erkannt. *2026-06-05* Auf einmal wird mein Benutzerkonto (über Apple registriert) nicht mehr erkannt. Ich müsste mir also mit einer neuen Emailadresse einen neuen Benutzer registrieren. Das mache ich nicht. Kontaktaufnahme zum Support unmöglich, da ich ja nicht mehr in die App komme. Schade. It’s not worth checking this app for politicized recommendations that are biased and completely inauthentic. The 2026 Florida Awards are perfect example. What a complete scam. What a shame to have happened to a once-great app. ### 1/5 — Recent update forces users to give personal data *2025-12-29, version 11.2.1* After working decently for many years without requiring account, they've pulled the rug with a recent update and now force you to hand over personal information just to view restaurants. There is absolutely no reason to suddenly start forcing users to make an account except to harvest their data. If they wanted to use features where an account would be necessary, such as for saving restaurants or leaving reviews, they would obviously just create one. Edit: the developer responded with straight lies. Accounts were not required before an update shortly before my review; I used it regularly without. The reasons they give are obviously nonsense. Viewing the same information on their website does not require an account. Forcing users to sign up is obviously just a cynical ploy to collect personal data. ### 1/5 — Require account *2025-12-28, version 11.2.1* They require an account even for non-account features, like just looking up restaurants! You can’t even try the app without giving them your personal information. Traduisez et restez fidèle à votre langue. Sinon l’application est très bonne et permet de trouver les lieux « amis » n’importe où dans le monde. ### 5/5 — Great for finding places to eat! *2026-03-06, version 11.5* We’re traveling to multiple countries and found it hard to chose which restaurants to eat at using Google reviews. Adding this app into the mix allows us to find unique places. So far we’ve tried over a dozen places and most have been excellent while the others have been good. We’ve recommended this app for other travels facing similar food choice challenges. I wish the app had a legend so we could better understand the icons and prices ranges in each country.
