Used to be the best but not now xx ### 3/5 — Needs a design refresh *2026-07-28, version 26.7.14* Fresh install, Home Screen shows only Want More header, My News is empty. Only after logging in and selecting topics do I get to see articles. This is bad and most users will just uninstall at that point. Home Screen still empty except for the 3 live events accessible via the top right button. UI needs a big refresh, this look feels dated. Fonts feel basic. Spacing are inconsistent and kinda bad. App needs a redesign and a simple design system. No obvious fancy AI features, overviews, screen readers. No easy reading mode. Bleh. Very irritating. It is disgustingly disappointing to read. I’m ashamed of British media, its political commentary is opinion dressed as news, they go out of their way to denigrate this government and the PM- I have no idea who they work for but it is not in the interests of this country or decency. Who do they ask about William and Kate? I think they’re an awful pair of concrete actors. He always looks as though he’s about to thump someone. Sulky faced, pretend smiles from both of them, like stage school kids trying to impress- it’s embarrassing to watch. ### 1/5 — Government Left Rag *2025-10-25, version 9.5.8* Too often stories that don’t fit the narrative are ignored, just today, lots of masked men roaming London in gangs and nothing mentioned. But now all they want is for you to pay for the decent articles and you can only view 15 free articles a week.
