At least one of your ministers spoke up in 2017 when an extremist killed Heather Heyer. What has happened since then? Your policy seems to be "Ignore everything; acknowledge nothing." Could you, a single time, devote space to the state of our government which, with abandon, kidnaps, illegally imprisons, and murders both citizens and immigrants—and believes it has a divine right to overthrow any vulnerable sovereign nation it pleases? Or has your diocesan bishop forbidden it? Ignoring the current chaos is a cop-out (intentional pun). If fear motivates your silence, remember Esther. What are ministries for anyway?
