## What is The Moto Buddy?

A notebook in your gear bag. A note on your phone. A spreadsheet from last season. And still no idea when the oil was last changed?
There's a better way. Moto Buddy is the maintenance and ride tracker built for motocross and motorcycle riders — one place for everything your bike needs.

Maintenance Schedule
Load your bike's full service schedule with one tap. Moto Buddy tracks every interval against your hour meter — oil changes, top end rebuilds, fork oil, chain, brakes — and automatically schedules the next service each time you mark one done. Declare your bike as 2-stroke or 4-stroke and get intervals specific to your engine type.

Lap Timer
Time every session at any track. Your full lap history is stored and ready to review — compare sessions, track your improvements, and see exactly where your times are coming down.

Mods & Settings Log
Record every modification and setup change you make. What changed, when it changed, and whether it made a difference. No more guessing what suspension setting you were on three race days ago.

Multiple Bikes & Riders
Running more than one bike? Moto Buddy handles multiple bikes and multiple riders, with all records scoped correctly to each combination.

Export & Share
Generate a complete record of any bike's maintenance history, modifications, and settings as a file — useful when handing the bike to a shop or passing it on to a buyer.

Your data stays on your device
No account. No cloud sync. No tracking. Everything stays on your phone.
Moto Buddy is built for riders who take their bikes seriously.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-26

**Log Book — Maintenance and Mods, together**
Maintenance and Mods now live under one Log Book tab instead of two separate places. Switch between Maintenance (Work Log, To Do, Suggested) and Mods (Modifications, Settings, Wish List) right from the top of the screen — same data, one consistent home.

**Redesigned Bike Detail**
Your bike's profile page is now a single scrolling view with quick-access rows straight to what you need: Mods & Settings, Maintenance (with a badge showing what's due), and Lap Times — each one jumping you straight into that bike's filtered history.

**Track Multiple Riders in One Session**
Set up a session for up to three riders at once — each on their own bike, running their own mods — and time everyone independently from a single screen. Start everyone together with one tap, or start, lap, and stop each rider on their own. Once everyone's finished, review and save each rider's laps one at a time, then open Compare Riders for a side-by-side, lap-by-lap breakdown of who was fastest each round.

**Rider Detail — now with your fastest tracks**
Tap a rider to see their profile at a glance, including a quick view of their fastest lap times across their 5 most-ridden tracks, plus a Lap Times row that jumps straight to their full session history.

**Session setup snapshot**
Every saved lap-timing session now automatically captures the bike's settings and mods exactly as they were that day — so you can always look back and see precisely what you were running when you set that lap time, even after you've changed your setup since.

**Settings, front and center**
App Settings is now one tap away from Bike Detail and Lap Times, not just Garage, Riders, and Log Book.

**Polish**
Cleaned up some of the app interactions. Every lap in a session now always displays, with a more compact list. Tightened up spacing across Bike Detail, Rider Detail, and session screens. Improved text contrast for better readability, and refined the look of Notes and cost fields throughout the app.
