## What is The Must Stash?

The Must Stash helps you save recommendations from friends, coworkers, podcasts, articles, and everyday conversations before they disappear.

Speak or type naturally and the app uses AI to turn what you said into a draft entry you can review and correct. Track movies, TV shows, books, podcasts, restaurants, hotels, and experiences in one clean list.

The Must Stash includes:

- AI-powered natural language entry for recommendations you speak or type
- Real catalog lookups that correct garbled titles and tell you where a show or movie is streaming
- The Bestest: a second list for the things you loved, so you always have an answer when someone asks for your favourites
- Completion dates, plus filtering by category and time, to answer questions like "best restaurants in Chicago" or "best shows I watched this year"
- Manual editing when you want full control
- Search and sorting to find recommendations quickly
- Contact linking for the person who suggested something, and a text ready to send when you finish something
- Private iCloud sync, so your list survives a new phone or a reinstall

Use it as a private recommendation inbox for all the things people tell you to watch, read, eat, visit, or try.

Recommendation Tracker 2.0 turns every saved recommendation into something you can act on.

• Every entry now ends in action buttons that take you straight to the thing itself: listen to a book on Audible or buy it on Amazon, open a movie or show's TMDB page, jump to an escape room on Morty, or open a podcast or song in Apple's apps.
• Watch buttons for movies and TV know where a title streams — and for many shows they open the show's own page on Netflix, Apple TV, and more.
• Store links follow your device's region, so you always land in your own storefront.
• Escape rooms now track the company that runs them, making them far easier to find.
• When something can't be found in a catalog, the entry's notes tell you plainly what happened and where the link goes instead.
• Recommend a specific podcast episode and the entry links straight to that episode.
• Long-press any link to copy it.
• Plus sharper voice transcription, smarter artist identification for music, and many fixes.

New in 1.2

The Bestest — a second tab for the things you've tried and loved. Mark a finished recommendation and it moves there, with its own search, category filter, and a filter by when you finished it.

Music — a new category for an artist plus the song or album, matched against a real catalogue.

Speak or Type — the entry screen now offers both, so you can talk or use the keyboard without leaving the flow.

Clearer entries — every field is labelled, so you can tell at a glance what each one holds, and entries now show when you added or finished them.

Better transcription — names, titles and authors come through far more accurately than before.

Larger text — full support for every text size, including the accessibility sizes.

Plus licences and attributions in Settings, and a range of fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-19

Setup now asks for both keys up front — your AI provider key and your TMDB key — and each has a Check Key button so you can confirm it works before you start. Previously the TMDB key had to be found later in Settings, so movie and TV entries could come back without streaming details.

Settings now has a Legal section gathering licenses and attributions in one place.
