Just downloaded the app (after seeing a note about it in the paper edition of the newspaper).

The articles in the paper are easy to read, and navigating from one page to the next is smooth.

The app has an overall clean design, and it is simple to download each day's paper.

The original paper version is a broadsheet which was too large and cumbersome especially at the breakfast table. The front page of the National has the local UAE and World news. Inside it is the local news followed by the wider Middle East then the Indian continent and world news followed by the obligatory letters page. The sports section and the life and arts and Saturday magazine in the paper version are in additional supplements which can be obtained in this version on the download page separately. The usual mix of puzzles and brain teasers are found in the life and arts section. The download speed is very fast. All in all a well written and unbiased newspaper.
