Not gonna lie I don’t get into the whole social media game so I felt lost as far as what was going on in the world currently without the paper so I went online and checked out their app/subscription. So glad I did, it’s an awesome app and it’s so convenient to be able to read the ACTUAL paper, not just cliff notes, but the actual printed version as it mails out down to every ad, comic, and obit. It’s perfect. Plus as a bonus I get full access to the USA Today paper in the same way. It is less expensive than receiving a paper copy 2. It is environmentally sensitive as I’m not throwing away stacks of paper each week 3. It is portable versus having to carry a paper around if I want to read the paper from another location 4. It is the ACTUAL paper, just in picture format 5. It is easy to maneuver around the page and read the articles I’m interested in on my Iphone or Ipad. I think it is the future of newspapers. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — I really want to like this app *2021-11-10, version 3.3.14* It’s a great way to read the paper - when it works. I often see the text of articles on the first few pages simply missing. Other times I zoom to read an article and the text remains blurry and unreadable - especially annoying for comics. When it works, I really like it. It just needs to work more. ### 3/5 — Goes offline frequently- requires a restart to get the whole paper *2022-01-25, version 3.3.14* The app is fine (minus politically slanted reporting) when I can use it. By the time you get halfway through the paper, text is blurry because the app has gone “offline” and failed to download the paper completely.
