## What is The Nuus?

The Nuus is a daily news digest: the most significant stories of the day, curated and rewritten as clear, bite-sized briefings.

One edition every morning. Sixteen stories. Each one is a single tight paragraph - what happened and why it matters - with a link straight to the original reporting.

WHY THE NUUS

- Curated, not endless: one finished edition a day, readable in about five minutes
- A world-first perspective: stories from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe, not just the usual headlines
- Sport with substance: milestones, records and stories that matter beyond the scoreline
- Straight to the source: every story links to the original reporting from outlets like the BBC, Al Jazeera, The Guardian and The New York Times
- Home Screen widget: today's top headlines at a glance, without opening the app
- Listen mode: have the whole edition read aloud while you make coffee
- Save for later: bookmark any story and it stays on your device
- Works offline: your latest edition is saved on your device and ready anywhere
- Built-in reader: tap any story to read the full article without leaving the app
- No ads, no accounts, no sign-in: just the news

Serving you bite-sized news, everyday.

- Stories, Archive, Saved, Settings and About now open as full screens with the masthead throughout

- Listening continues in the background, with lock screen controls and artwork
- A short pause between stories and a friendly sign-off at the end of each edition
- Saved stories remember which edition they came from
- Cleaner feed, matching typography in the reader, and the source credit now links to the publisher
