### 5/5 — Better than an actual printed version.

*2022-10-17, version 3.6.13*

My newspaper delivery is never delayed, missing, or wet now. The app allows me to set text size, print articles and puzzles, and store several editions. I use this app on both my phone and my iPad.

### 5/5 — Online Version

*2022-09-26, version 3.6.13*

I subscribe to the online edition and enjoy not having to recycle the paper edition. I can take the app everywhere I go and also have access to previous versions. It is a good value.

### 5/5 — The Oklahoman

*2022-08-28, version 3.6.13*

Although the Oklahoman doesn’t always express my views, I comprehend the bias.
It is more logical than the New York and the
Los Angeles Times. I appreciate being informed
of national as well as local news. I enjoy working the puzzles everyday and the comics give some
relief to the tensions that exist in the world.
The sports coverage is not as up to date and informative as it once was; however, we can
get a lot of that information on our cellphones
instantly anyway. I enjoy having access to USA Today and the many extra publications as well.
Thanks for the work you guys do.

### 5/5 — Great reading.

*2022-07-27, version 3.6.13*

So glad to see the actual view of the daily paper on my phone. Love the access and flexibility. John R.

### 5/5 — My lifetime newspaper

*2022-07-20, version 3.6.13*

I have enjoyed reading newspapers since I was 12 years old. Born and raised in Oklahoma, the Daily and Times were an integral part of my education. Appreciate the digital edition at this point in my life!

### 5/5 — Best way to have the news!

*2022-07-16, version 3.6.13*

The cost and convenience are the main reasons I love the digital version of The Oklahoman!!!

### 5/5 — Enjoy

*2022-04-30, version 3.6.05*

When I learn how to navigate the e I appreciate it very much. I am 80 years of age and first read about the Sooners. After Vietnam 68-69 got my degree from the The
University of Oklahoma.

### 5/5 — Excellent Source of news.

*2022-04-25, version 3.6.05*

This is a very versatile app and makes staying current easy and enjoyable

### 4/5 — Reading the paper this way works for me

*2022-04-08, version 3.6.05*

I never thought I’d get used to not holding the newspaper in my hand, but I now get along just fine with this app.

### 5/5 — Text sizing and response.

*2022-03-09, version 3.6.05*

I like the way the app honors my iPhone settings for text size and written material. It makes a material readable to me without a lot of resizing, dragging, and searching.

### 5/5 — Getting better

*2022-01-20, version 3.3.14*

I enjoy the app and the format continues to be of better user friendly.

### 5/5 — Review

*2022-01-17, version 3.3.14*

I really enjoy reading our paper on my phone. I enjoy the ability to make the print larger and easier to read. I also enjoy your efforts to be fair and tell both political views. I also enjoy your sports reporting. The paper represents professional sports, college and high schools well. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great way to read the paper !

*2021-10-29, version 3.3.14*

As a person who grew up reading the newspaper the traditional layout of the Newspaper and the ease of navigation and the ability to navigate to the Oklahoman website is great.

### 5/5 — Everything I need to know.

*2021-09-28, version 3.3.14*

Have read the paper for 72 years starting with with the comics with my mom. Took me a bit to get used to the digital format but it is so nice to have my paper anywhere I go.

### 4/5 — App is Mostly Stable

*2021-09-17, version 3.3.14*

This app is largely stable but there were days where a specific day’s content want fully accessible, despite downloading the edition.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Print edition goes back to front page for no reason.

*2022-09-23, version 3.6.13*

Why does it always go back to the front pages if you stop reading for a few minutes. Then you have to flip through the pages to try and figure out where you were reading

### 1/5 — Disaster

*2022-03-11, version 3.6.05*

This App,Gannet and the Digital Edition crash every time you do any Update! All of the help line comes from somewhere in South America and for the 2nd time today they said a new logon would be sent to me in 15 to 2o minutes..] No call back and a hour has passed. Thanks and make sure you hire as few Oklahomans and Americans as possible!!! You should be embarrassed !
Lynda N.

### 1/5 — All-around bad

*2021-05-28, version 3.2.64*

Horrible app and even worse customer service. This is the third straight Friday that the app doesn’t work. All I get is a message saying to contact customer service. By mid-morning on Monday, it magically starts working again. Customer service was a complete waste of time. They couldn’t find my account. Why am I talking to a guy in India? So much better before they changed apps. Of course this paper has been on a downward spiral for many years, so it shouldn’t be a surprise.

### 1/5 — Too many bugs!

*2021-05-19, version 3.2.64*

While the new app is a definite improvement from the old one, it still leaves a lot to be desired. I can’t load older papers. It keeps sending me back to the account page.
PLEASE FIX IT!
Nothing to do with the app, but bring back the real estate sales! Dear Abby is shorter than it used to be.

### 1/5 — I miss the Oklahoman

*2021-05-18, version 3.2.64*

I’ve been able to adjust to the print replica; still miss the physical paper. But the paper. Has been decimated in the last 6 mos. or so. No marriage/divorce info. I used to anxiously await the Sat issue to look at the real estate transactions. Finally in the last several months the listings were more complete, stretching into two pages, then poof it was gone all together. If you get rid of the death/ obits I’ll be done !!!!!!!!!!! I would add, very poor “local coverage”. Also layout. You can’t seem to finish even a short story without continuing 2 inches several pages away.

### 1/5 — New app & E-edition

*2021-04-12, version 3.2.64*

Forget reading a newspaper! This app and all the new modifications leaves you trying to figure out how to find what you want to read. It is not user friendly. It is hard to find the arrows to advance pages if you make print larger. It is hard to get back to your page when you do select an article to read. It’s hard to find a special section of interest. There is very little news and mostly ads. The E-edition from previous apps was the best way to find anything, and all of that has disappeared. The symbols to replace that format are misleading and the pop ups are annoying and are often difficult to remove leaving one in a quandary of where the newspaper went. I can’t rate it below a 1, but it should have a negative rating!!

### 3/5 — Obituaries

*2022-11-26, version 3.6.13*

Why are there only a few obituaries listed? Some days there are none that are shown. I don’t understand this. At my age, unfortunately, this is what I focus on initially and sometimes. Do people just not do obituaries anymore?

### 3/5 — Impossible to click on pictures

*2021-07-29, version 3.3.14*

The journalism is fine, but when you try to click on a picture to read the full blurb or zoom in on a picture you’re taken to a video ad that’s impossible to back out of. I just have to close down the whole app to avoid seeing an unwanted video ad. Especially annoying when I’m already paying for a subscription.

### 4/5 — It works. A bit clumsy

*2023-07-16*

The stories are reasonable (meaning mostly fair bring up both sides). The reading is awkward as the conversion from print to digital has formatting problems. The placement of paragraphs and phrases makes the reader repeat when the y just read.

### 4/5 — Good Information to keep up with things happening in Oklahoma

*2023-01-24, version 3.6.13*

Really best way to keep up with local and state In depth information.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great way to reas the news

*2023-03-11*

Saves paper and the environment. Just would like to news to be more current. Everything is a day old if something happened in the afternoon or early evening.

### 5/5 — Love reading the Oklahoman

*2023-02-23, version 3.6.13*

It keeps me up to date on the places I lived in my Childhood thru college.
The news is informative and I love reading about the Sooners.

### 5/5 — Enjoying great news coverage

*2023-02-10, version 3.6.13*

I am enjoying easy access to the stories I am most interested in. I like the news coverage as they contain more details on stories than I would get on television. Stories are professionally written. I love the digital access.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2023-02-02, version 3.6.13*

When I sign in, it opens quickly . Swiping is smooth. Enlarging is effective.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-01-26, version 3.6.13*

The app is very user friendly. The newspaper is ready to download very early each morning. Enjoy using the app!

### 5/5 — Love the price of the paper

*2023-01-19, version 3.6.13*

I really like the electronic and the print paper as well thank you very much and it’s affordable too.

### 5/5 — Almost there

*2023-01-17, version 3.6.13*

We hung on to our beloved “real” newsPAPER until recently. It was hard not to have the feel of the actual paper in my hand. But, I am used to it and only wish I had the Sunday edition in paper. I’m getting there……

With a new 12” iPad, it’s really easy to enjoy the E-version.

### 5/5 — Enjoying The Oklahoman

*2022-12-17, version 3.6.13*

With some occasional hiccups, The Oklahoman app is easy to navigate. Trial and error result in the best option for viewing, regardless of device. I miss print newspapers, but for access to information this is an excellent alternative.

### 5/5 — Screaming Bargain

*2022-11-23, version 3.6.13*

$22 for 2 years!! I live in Kansas but follow both OU and OSU. The local papers only carry the Kansas schools. So, this gives me a chance to follow the college sports and keep up with other news.	The “Okie” transplant

### 5/5 — Enjoy new vetsion

*2022-11-11, version 3.6.13*

Much clearer with the new print. Enjoy on-line version of Oklahoma very much. It’s always at my fingertips.
