Gone all the days where you got some value from the app simply because the designer wants to minister to people first. Real Ministry is all about helping people and allowing them to donate if they so choose. If you give me value, most people will pay or donate to support your Ministry. Show me that you’re about helping people and I will support you. ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2026-02-05, version 5.8* They ruined it by putting ads in every single time you open the app. And a bunch of them are click baity or in chinese. I paid for the subscription but can no longer listen to the New Testament which I could before. The contact feature no longer works either so there is no way to get technical help. After downloading and logging back in, I am quite impressed and pleased, not only with the app but with the developer following up with me. In this day and age it’s always a surprise when a business listens to their customers and responds! Kudos to! Previous Review: Just deleted this app! After years of use I can no longer open NIV, NLT and NKJV without paying for them! All my bookmarks and notes are gone! Never expected this from a bible app! Decided to just pick a book to read from- but they are not loading either. It takes me to a screen that says “Old Testament” or “New Testament” but when you click on it, it goes to a blank screen. It’s not my service or WiFi. ### 4/5 — Once Great, Can be Great Again! *2025-08-03, version 5.1* I love your app and have been using it for years but please fix the following bugs, especially the first one which used to work fine about 2 years ago. 1. Misread Books - Reset all your data/reading/etc. - clean slate - Read Ephesians and mark each chapter (all 6) as read, I tested with NIV but I’m not sure translation matters I’ve seen this in others - Attempt to select a new book and notice that on the book summary screen it shows progress for reading Galatians for some reason and Ephesians isn’t marked complete. - This is one example, this happens for some books not all but is pretty common. - Also, Sometimes the first chapter of a book shows up as read when I never clicked Mark as Read 2. San Francisco font cannot be resized on iPhone, it renders as microscopic which is unusable. There is a list of notes but I am unable to open them—I just see a few lines. I used to really like this app as it was simple to use and had what I wanted. I like to use this app for quick reference for teaching- and just trying to go back and forth between this app and another to type out a Bible verse (bc there’s no copy feature) is such a pain now. I get yall have to make money, but put the ad somewhere else so it doesn’t pop up every single time I simply go back and forth between this and what I’m using to type on. I’m not even closing the app, I let it hover to the left while I try to memorize a few words to type. It makes it to where the simple act of opening my Bible app makes me angry. I will not use a BIBLE app that makes me angry to use. I rely on these notes for sermon preparation. You are incredibly thoughtless regarding your customers. I have relied on you for the safe keeping and guaranteed access to these notes. In church just to get it to load or go back to during church you have to deal with ads. It was never like this. I have sent multiple emails to their support team to get this fixed, but I have received absolutely none zero response. This should not be when it comes to the word of God. I think this type of ad is highly inappropriate, given this is a Bible app! Also, someone who doesn’t read the whole thing might be tempted to click the link thinking their device is compromised. I don’t mind seeing ads on my free apps, but let’s make them appropriate please. I say this because I have One Bible version available to me and when I try to switch it all other options are grayed out. Email requesting clarification and Help has gone unanswered for over 30 days. Today I tried to call and their system simply hung up on me. $3.99 for a single Bible version seems like a very poor value to me. Used to be a great app with timely tech support. With most recent upgrade, I lost ability to swipe left or right when reading on my IPad. I had paid $25 for this app years ago because I wanted the NIV84, and this app had the full offline version. The app startup issue appears resolved. I don’t have to go airplane mode to get it to work now. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Disappointed *2022-05-20* I’ve been using this app for some time now. I’ve dealt with some of the glitches in the past, and it’s been doing well for a long time now. This morning I got up, and the app had been updated. I even subscribed to a monthly donation, and paid for ad free. Now it won’t even open anymore. I have deleted it and reinstalled several times, and I still can’t get it to load. I ended the subscription until I am able to use it again. **Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out to us.
